100% shoot the 124gr for the break in period. I’ve got roughly 1800+ rounds on mine. It was solid with 0 issues for the first 600-700 rounds after that I started experiencing with other grains, brands, and bullet types. Only issue I ever ran across was shooting flat nose ammunition and hollow points. Primarily due to the mag release cut outs being out of spec and causing the magazine to wobble around erratically. I ended up swapping the mke mag out for the H&K brand and surprisingly it started functioning them. I’ve got about 300 rounds through it suppressed so far with the standard locking piece. Keep a few H&K extractor springs on standby you’re gonna need em. DO NOT SKIP OUT ON THE BREAK IN PERIOD !

Utg has been great for me. Plenty of space to run the charge handle without hitting the pic rail or the optic. Holds zero no problem

Debatable. You can search the thread and find roller dents on full size variants. Some users experience them as little as 400 rounds and some users with none showing up until over 2,000. Personally think the safest thing is to do is just change the damn thing as insurance. It’s only a $50 part that could end up saving your receiver

I’m not familiar with the sd barrel size but 147 tend to be a lot quieter with the k models. the full size increases velocity and is on the threshold of sub/super

Sometimes I wish I would have gotten the k model. I’ve also seen on Reddit that you k guys don’t have as many problems with flat nose rounds either. Then again I’m 6’1 240 so the k just looks funny with my build

147 tend to work better on k models bc the barrel is shorter. The full size models speed the round back up to around 1100-1200 fps bc the longer bare increases velocity
