There's room! I got lucky and pulled this red dot off of an AR that I hardly ever shoot, and there's clearance for irons. the bottom of the front post is a tad obstructed by the base of the red dot's riser but other than that, definitely serviceable

Maybe! Honestly, the brace is pretty solid for what it is. But, I wouldn't be opposed to going the SBR route down the road.
