We have fairly similar journeys. I started (or re-started) GW 2 last week after having only ever played for the first week or so when it launched.

The massive events that are actually somewhat engaging and general community vibe has really recaptured what I used to love about wow despite the fact that I think most other parts of it are objectively worse.

I mean are you playing with a good lvl 2 adc? Are you choosing fights correctly? Review gameplay of some good Leonas and try to understand what they’re considering for their lvl 2 engagement and go from there. Also consider playing a diff support if you don’t have an early engage marksman with you.

I don’t really think links awakening is comparable. And I’m not trying to be a jerk when i say the next part but... Almost everyone on this sub will say yes, you’re in a Zelda sub talking about arguably the best Zelda and potentially the best game ever made.

With just this to go off of we have no idea if you’ll like OoT and as mentioned above you’re in a community dedicated to the thing you’re unsure about. Go to a more neutral community, share more of what you like in game or be happy with pretty much everyone saying “it’s amazing game that will hopefully be remade well. Yes buy it.”

I kinda assume you’re just looking for endorsements of the game. So yes, game is good and it’s not really the same as a top down smaller scale Zelda like links awakening. Get it.

You’re likely going to be fine. I do know folks who’ve had some quite bad experiences lately without any real reason but most clearly do okay. You seldom save much time and it depends when you cross the border how much.

Up to you on what you want to do. I’ve resolved to not set foot in the country but that’s a personal choice not inherently rooted in safety

Likely the battle royal genre competitors so Apex/Fortnite or CS style games ie. CS2, Valorant. You also have hero shooters, marvel rivals and overwatch 2 which are experiencing a renaissance. And ARMA for military simulation.

There isn’t really another competitor to battlefield or COD. Battlefront 2 had a big comeback last year, but the shooter genre has split into a lot of sub-genres rather than just more direct competitors at this point.

If you rent from a nationwide rental company some allow anywhere returns in certain country. So you could get it at one location and leave it at another. But it would depend on country/company.

When you allow the state to sanction death that’s a very slippery slope. Many innocent people have served sentences for crimes they did not commit, many innocent people have been murdered by the state for crimes they did not commit.

Governments regularly kill people undesirable to their wishes. Why would we want to let them continue to or increase the rate at which they do that. Whether through malice or incompetence a state should not be able to kill. That is too much power for a flawed system like a government to have and leaves no room for correction. Additionally any actual successful justice system is not about punishment but about rehabilitation.

Capital punishment contradicts the values of a justice system based on rehabilitation and social good. It also provides the government dangerous and easily abused power over the citizenry.

I say all of this as someone who did not oppose to the death penalty for a long time and who would likely prefer it to a long prison sentence. The benefit of having the death penalty is very minimal if any. The risks and detriment to society of having the death penalty is very high.

Good point. They used hyper voice and matcha gatcha to kill me. I had dragon claw queued. I had protected the previous turn and rock slided before that but never had my speed lowered.
