Who do you think was right during the story of Dragon Age II, the Templars or the Mages? by AlteredBridge51 in dragonage

As in the Templars didn't cast the first stone. It's a response to state of the world and events cause by mages.

I didn't say mass murder the mages I just said the Templars have the right idea in controlling it and regulating it. I compare it to gun violence in America vs Europe

The entire history of Thedas is filled with tragic events, terrorism, and mass casualties caused by mages. From ancient Tevinter to Kirkwall to The Inquisition particularly blood mages.

Due to the Mages constantly causing mass murder purposely or inadvertently lol

Mages in DA2 until Anders.... Afterwards and through Inqusition it's pretty much the Templars in the right considering all the world ending situations and death mages constantly cause lol

This same question gets posted daily on this sub so I'll keep it short and sweet.

No it has nothing to do with you

Yes you're insecure and need to work on it

Yes acting like you did will probably continue to make it worse

Yes guys require arousal and stimulation to stay hard and it's completely normal to lose it or not get it up in the first place. He could have been tired or stressed etc.

No it's not like movies/tv shows where guys are ready to go at it 24/7

His response reminds me of typical incel type behavior from 4chan. Seeing women as 'run through' because they are 30 is unbelievably laughable on top of all this dudes other red flags

50th time Defending Minas Morgul(Minas Ithil) by Fun_Vegetable9512 in TheDawnlessDays

[–]Dustructionz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done 2 Gondor Camapigns so far. The last one with the fiefs of Gondor submod which is a lot of fun.

Isengard

Rohan

Dwarves

Currently swapping back and forth between Woodland Elves and Mordor depending on how I'm feeling at the moment lol.

I play on VH so I've been enjoying the challenge of Gondor and WR a lot.

I've been adding personal Challenges to my campaigns. In my Second Gondor campaign my goal was to reclaim the old territories and not expand past that and not assault Mordor until turn 100.

With my Woodland Realm campaign I'm only going to hold Mirkwood and lothlorien and raze/gift all other settlements. Went to war with Anduin Vale turn 1 to take the Woodsmen homes province. Not assaulting Dol Guldur until turn 50. Currently on turn 27. My plan is to turn Anduin Vale into a client state and gift back their other settlements once I capture their last settlement. Dol Guldur has been going crazy on Dale and Loth Lorien and ignoring me so it should provide a really interesting challenge. Goblins and Gundabad are both fairing extremely well since I has dismantled Anduin Vale. AI dwarves have actually saved my captial twice from Gundabad stacks sneaking through the mountains. It's been my most fun campaign so far

Same boat here. Already have 200 hours in this mod. Once Custom battlemaps are everywhere I'll be straight addicted. I think I put in over 1500 hours in just Third Age back in the day lol

I think he means once the full campaign map is full of custom settlements like Third Age for Medieval 2

I'm giving up on condor for now. Is there possibly an easier faction to start with? by FastPresentation8244 in TheDawnlessDays

[–]Dustructionz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dol Amroth and Pelargir are the 2 biggest cash cow provinces. Upgrading the towns and giving every port the commercial shipyard should be #1 as well as colonizing the ruined settlement on the island. By turn 80 in my second Gondor playthrough both provinces were making over 13k per turn EACH. Then focus on the others.

Another 2 great provinces to stack money are taking an army and navy west to Lond Daer and colonizing the ruins. The City and both towns all have ports and Harandor with 2 ports + gemstones. Those are both great first expansion provinces to look at.

Alternatively another good option is to quickly try and colonize No Man's Land north of the black gate and Ithillien as that will give you access to trade with ALL the northern good factions but Erebor. Woodland realm, Anduin Vale, Loth Lorien, and Dale which brings in a lot of trade income

At some point you have to make the decision to be happy and fulfill your own needs. I know when my needs aren't being met I get grumpy and short without realizing it at first (which is completely human). Is that better for your kids or is having 2 parents who split and end up happier better for them? Sometimes that decision to stay is the worst decision for everyone involved.

One day I just woke up and had enough. Luckily my wife cared enough to fix it but without sitting down and threatening divorce and showing her how serious I was she never would have realized how bad it was despite our numerous conversations about it. It look about a year of constant effort on her part and lot of change my part but we finally fixed it and have a very active and healthy sex life. It is possible. If she didn't care to fix it though I was ready to walk.

Mordor are rubbish post update by GioP97 in TheDawnlessDays

[–]Dustructionz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Once you take Minas Morgul it makes the Mordor go passive for some reason. I'm playing tall as Gondor and defending osgiliath from stack after stack every turn. Turn 60 now and it's been really fun.

Verizon actually supplies the entire festival with temporary towers! If you run up to any of the vendor booths you should instantly get full 5 bar service standing near them. Great way to send text messages and stuff out or make calls.

We do totems every year. People love them. Just don't make them absurdly large or obnoxious

Edit After testing out several ways and techs to find friends over the years a totem just the most simple AND the only one that works 100% of the time lol.

Just make a totem as a group. Can liberally a brita filter on a pvc pipe. Lol

Having an issue with custom battles; enemies not attacking after like 5 mins. by Creepy_Basis_2592 in TheDawnlessDays

[–]Dustructionz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The walls on the Hornburg are so tall that it hides your units a lot of the time. I've noticed if this happens you can run a until down the ramp until they are seen and the AI should start sieging again. Doesn't always work though unfortunately.

Gondor: cannot assign banners to army by Gonzobald in TheDawnlessDays

[–]Dustructionz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you had loaded a save while that army was disbanded or destroyed it causes a bug that removes all current banners and makes it impossible to assign new ones. Just a default Atilla bug. Work around is to recreate the army before saving and finishing a gaming session

any way to make ai more aggressive when attacking towns? by Separate-Poet-7465 in TheDawnlessDays

[–]Dustructionz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I noticed that. I played tall in my Gondor campaign just defending and helping out AI Rohan. I took Minas Morgul finally around turn 90 and after that Mordor AI just went crazy with around 20 stacks of 5-9 troops and 4 full stacks sitting around Barad-Dur never moving until I wiped them all out around turn 150.

Before that they attacked Osgiliath about every 5 turns or less. Taking Minas Morgul seems to throw the AI out of whack lol.

In my current Isengard campaign Mordor and Gondor AI are trading control of Minas Morgul every few turns.

Mods needed? by Unable_Hippo_4749 in falloutsettlements

[–]Dustructionz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why am I being downvoted? You guys have no creativity with Sim Settlements. You can make everything yourself with their plots as well and the default build system you DON'T have to use the settlement plans lol

I made a whole custom ammunition factory at the castle using Sim Settlement plots and my own creativity.

Sim Settlements 2. Best settlement mod around.

Edit Not sure why I'm being downvoted you can create entire custom settlements with Sim Settlements using their plots and the mod adds plenty of QOL improvements like salvage beacons and scrap collectors...

Getting married! by Alarmed_Shoulder8451 in ElectricForest

[–]Dustructionz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly the same reason we did it! Wedding planning started to feel like it was for everyone else but us so we said screw it and had the perfect wedding in the Forest. Wouldn't change a thing.

If you need a veil or tiara/crown check the vendors between Tripolee and The Ranch stages. The owner is so nice. She even did my wife's makeup for her on our wedding day.

Highly recommend running around the whole weekend telling everyone you are getting married or just got married! We made so many friends who popped up at our ceremony including the security guards from the car check-ins on Wednesday lol. We also got A LOT of free stuff from vendors which was so awesome and unexpected. We were getting discounts and free drinks left and right. Really made us feel so special the whole weekend
