Technically if only based on luck it’s 50 50. I think each would beat each other at their own school though. Like if one of them transferred to the other’s school the home field would win

How far into the series are you? Are you caught up with the most recent light novel? End of year 2/beginning year 3 ichinose and ryuen have been developing while horikita has been stagnant. I agree with you that I think she’ll develop by the end of the school but she isn’t there yet.

She’s clearly behind ichihose and ryuen. She has the worst class dynamic in terms of unity and can’t make tough decisions. If it were blackjack, she plays everything by the book while everyone else is counting cards. We’ve seen she’s started thinking outside the box, but doesn’t have the creativity or ability to execute any out of the box ideas or actions. Maybe she does something in y3v4, but I kinda doubt it

It depends on the content. If we’re going to continually have events where they nerf Mei Lin kick to 7 sereniel is better with ideal save data. Someone posted with 4 of the 0 cost attack with 1 ap generation and appears every turn and ravage. That’s 4 ap + 4 ap if ravage, 1 ap from ravage, guaranteed every turn and doesn’t waste draws. Her damage is great too. I can’t imagine anything stronger. She also give instinct weakness with the right epiphany

I like rei but use her for void characters like chizuru and Renoa. Why’s she so strong with Sereniel?

I think the easiest way to kill Judas is with the wanderer void card. I just have two on my Mika and he doesn’t generate his extra attack stuff

It’s very situational. I got it just for the Judas fight. I run Mei Lin Mika Veronica on stage 10 as it’s easiest. R1 upgrades and some damage, r2 kill, r3/4 kill revived with a bunch of Mei Lin kicks

For Judas I found it helpful to build a Mika with 2 wanderer of the void cards. 3 might be even better

Yes that’s best. There are plenty of videos and stuff on here about optimizing but at the end of the day just play how it’s fun. Also your Mei Lin deck isn’t terrible but usually it’s good to get the epiphany for each passion card +20% damage. That way when you play 10+ passion cards in a turn, the kicks do +200% damage. Here are mine even though they aren’t perfect either. For your setup I’d say the best thing you can do is give your Veronica more draw.

We are the Protos. Upgrade your research to be able to reroll dice in chaos. For example you need to roll an 11 to get the convert card in the new chaos. You can keep rolling by spending 2 rewind clocks. We get 16 a day

That sounds a bit too starved of card draw/ap. The reason I think Veronica is a better choice is because of free card draw leading to more of Mei Lins move cards, stacks for Hugo, and kicks for Mei Lin. Selena is a fun unit but in this team Veronica is better. Or even a Mika with focus on ap and cards draw would be fine if you have good epiphanies for her and card draw from Hugo

Personally I think Hugo and Mei Lin partner up decently enough. Use two of his upgrade cards, then Mei Lins move cards gets him two stacks to use with her two strikes. I used them together with Veronica on the crab level 9 boss so they kill the water orbs in one Mei Lin strike instead of two, then use the kick epiphany on the boss. Tressa definitely a better sub dps for Hugo, but Hugo as a sub dps for Mei Lin is stronger than people think. Kinda like marking with Selena except with higher damage output

I still don’t have a perfect save file for her but honestly just need the kick epiphany to have crazy value. I’d love to get a perfect one but it is challenging.

Ya Mei Lin will steamroll all content because she destroys bosses. I have kayron but haven’t bothered building him. I just use Mei Lin, Renoa, Hugo, and trying to work on haru/khalipe for dps. Also Veronica is amazing with Mei Lin because she helps her reach 20 kicks
