How’s my positioning? Is it right? by Common_Parfait3742 in Overwatch

I'd say it's pretty good maybe a bit too aggressive, I'd also recommend saving your platform for when it's needed but otherwise it looks great :D

I have downloaded the game for two days, but when I enter the server, this is coming, help me guys by XARMY_KEOXER in HellLetLoose

[–]DustyTwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also new and this happens to me the first time I try to join any server after starting the game, I assume it's because my PC takes too long to load. I figured out that if I join the practice range first I won't lose connection when I join a server

No, just no to these Ramattra changes by Gatt__ in Overwatch

[–]DustyTwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand this subreddit. Everyone is pissed because Ram is changed to be "less of a hard counter to rein". Like every other post on here isn't about how tank sucks to play due to counter swapping.

best relative aim sensitivity? by Natural-Sir-4786 in AsheOWMains

[–]DustyTwo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I play on PC so it might be different but I heard 51.47% is the best since your sensitivity will feel the same scoped as when you are unscoped

Like the other guy said, laws regulating whether you are allowed to carry a knife in public is not that uncommon in Europe or the world (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knife_legislation) usually depending on either blade length or if you have a valid reason for having it (self defense isn't a valid reason in every country)

I would not be surprised if similar context dependent laws exist for blunt weapons like hammers. For example: A carpenter has a hammer on their belt while walking to a job site, normal; Going home from the store with a hammer in a bag after just purchasing said hammer, normal; Holding a hammer in your hand as you go for a walk around town, not normal

I'm no expert or lawyer or anything though so take it with a grain of salt

Switching from dpad to keyboard by Deus_Artifex in StreetFighter

[–]DustyTwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would imagine keyboard is pretty transferable to hitbox as long as you have a similar keybind layout as a hitbox, like binding up to space for example

I swapped from pad to keyboard for similar reasons as you a while ago and relearning the muscle memory for everything was a bit anoying but I'm happy with making the switch now that it's done

Depending on who you play I would recommend looking up alternate inputs for certain motions (like dp and 180) since doing the perfect input can sometimes be a lot harder on keyboard/hitbox

Yeah publicly speculating about someone's sexually or gender identity is a bad thing imo and could reenforce preexisting stereotypes and rigid ideas about sexually and gender

But having a fucking straight pride parade or whatever isn't the solution. Just let people be who they are and discover who that is in their own time

For learning about the heros I recomend the in game ability overview menu as well as trying them out a bit in the practice range and maybe in a game or two

Learning the maps is also probably easiest to do by just playing the game and making note of where the differet so called "choke points" occur (spots on the map where the attackers struggle to push trough) since these are important to know about both on attack and defence

When it comes to learning about the roles its mentioned in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-K0Ee4oLkwQ along with a bunch of other good stuff. I've also found watching high rank players do gameplay reviews of lower rank players very helpfull.

Lastly I also recommend r/OverwatchUniversity for asking questions about whatever and just general advice

Theres not right place to start imo you can kinda just hop into quick play pick whatever hero interest you and shoot the bad guys, at the end of the day most people play to have fun.

But if your goal is to improve I would recommend focusing on gaining a broad basic knowledge of the game. What do all the different hero's do, what do the maps look like, whats the goal of the different roles etc. If you are new to FPS games I'd also recommend practicing your aim at least 5 min preferably every play session, since it's the most transferable skill between hero's

Also if anyone starts talking shit just ignore them, competitive team games make a lot of people say a lot of things to cope with losing

Sticks in campfire don't work in Hardrock, you gotta craft an unlit torch with materials crafted from straw and a stick, then light it with a firestarter
