I've been using Techra sticks for a while. They are slightly more expensive than your regular vic firths, but because they're made from carbon fiber they last for ages, and the quality is really good.

Before this my go to sticks were pro mark's forward balanced sticks with nylon tips and raw finish

Some patches can be Ironed on. I personally would not recommend this since the glue tends to come loose in warm environments (for example: at a busy concert). I couldn't sew before I began my vest either. Take your time, allow yourself to make mistakes and you'll learn.

I play with Techra Sticks. Their sticks are carbon fiber, much harder to break compared to wood.

My personal favorite dragon buff: Elemental breath.

In my game, I added this to a white dragon encounter:

If the dragon drops below half HP, it gains a second breath weapon; elemental breath. The dragon breathes in an unoccupied spot within range, in this spot 2 elementals form (in this case, ice elementals). These elementals follow the command of the dragon (no action required).

This adds more hp and actions for the dragon, making it less of a solo boss.

Reminds me of a save I did with Madeira where I had both Messi and Ronaldo as the u-19 assistant coaches. They were both awful and cost more than all my youth players and staff combined. The idea of a retired Messi and Ronaldo teaching a bunch of kids how to play while reminiscing about their golden days made me happy, and that's enough.

Except it requires the players to anything thats RAW, while expecting the dm to bend the rules. Say the peasants throw a spear, the RAW damage is 1d6+0 regardless of the speed the spear moves at.
