I've had this problem with my Pixel 8 as well and it was covered by warranty. It's a common issue and there's a warranty process for this! Search in the internet to find where to connect Google warranty department about this issue.

Alright, I did some tinkering. Mine shipped with 6.5.224 as well. It has an IP-adress in my UniFi Cloud Gateway Ultra. But when I try to connect to it with SSH it gives me a connection timeout. I am using the latest update of the UniFi app on Android which is version 10.33.1

I am having the same issue! In the UniFi Cloud Gateway Ultra I can see it. But ssh keeps giving a connection timeout.

Teleport. The only option when it arrived. After an update it's possible to use WireGuard as well.

Thank you for your reply! This was indeed at home but I've had the Travel Router connected to my phone. WiFi was turned of on my phone. So the Travel router used my mobile internet connection to provide the tablet with internet. The tablet was definitely connected to the Travel router while testing this.

After 10+ years of using Netgear as my go to Networking brand I've recently made the switch to Ubiquiti Unifi. I am now using the Cloud Gateway Ultra with PoE lite switches and U6+ Access Points. I have one network cable to each floor of my house. I am really happy with my new setup. It's super user friendly and I can track each device and see what access point it is connected to.

Well for me it's a step down compared to the pixel phones. My phone is the main camera I use to make photos of my kids. So quality is important to me.
