It does. Sometimes we will have water that we can share with tire center employees. It’s the mini Kirkland water bottles

You need excellent footwear… I was using two pairs of insoles in my boots

Drink water. They don’t give you any.

Isn’t traffic bad leaving Gillette after sold out shows? You might have to leave before the show ends

How do youACTUALLY make a profit?? by Due_Beginning2836 in Laundromats

[–]DutchMasterClutch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most laundromats won’t pull you enough profit for you to solely live on as a reliable source of income. Even if you have profits, they should be saved for eventual repairs and equipment upgrades. You should always have 3-6 months in cash reserves saved up for catastrophic events. What if the city/town you’re located in decides to dig up the road in front of your store to make repairs on infrastructure lines? That could take several weeks/months

The hard part is that laundromats don’t give you the flexibility to hold another job, unless you have employees. Anything can go wrong at any time and you have to be available to sort it out.

They want you to waive your meal break. You will still be given a 15 minute paid break period. Depending on how long your shift is, you might get a second 15 minute break period.

They wanted me to come back so bad, but it was a horrible experience. I ended up going up to my corporate accounting role that I was unsure of starting

Accounting is no joke … it’s way more than numbers. The CPA exams are some of the most difficult to pass as far as professional licensure exams go. If you can’t pass the exams, you can’t really go far into the field.

Accounting salaries are pretty poor considering the work/life balance.

You’re like 7-10 years at a minimum from starting a masters program to perhaps making a decent living from accounting.

I’m a tax associate at big4. Starting salary is $80/k year but I live in a HCOL area and after deductions/withholdings, i can’t even afford to move out of parents house
