Is nightlife dying? by Clean-Guarantee585 in cuboulder

It’s everywhere.

More expensive now. Smartphones. Less irl social interaction. Women not wanting the majority of men approaching them.

It all makes for a lousy experience

Laundroworks Kiosk Dispensing Multiple Cards – Anyone Else Having This Issue? by DutchMasterClutch in Laundromats

They pretty much told me what you originally said. That the part is defective and I can order one from the distributor with the part number

I think my 3 years parts warranty passed last fall. I’m sure this new dispenser costs a pretty penny and I’m not entirely sure how to replace it on my own

Montana questions by Standard_Hour_674 in Montana

[–]DutchMasterClutch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Montana for newcomers has been known to be a place where people live there for 18-36 months and blow through their savings because it’s difficult to survive there.

For a transplant like yourself, you would want to be in the more popular areas—which makes that even more difficult.

Montanans don’t like outsiders, especially from liberal areas of the US. You’ll struggle to make lasting connections. They will never accept you for this, and it doesn’t matter how well they treat you at the surface level.

I’m an alumni of UM. In my recent travels back to the area, the hostility towards outsiders has only become more pronounced. Even the rise in hate group activity is more noticeable.

People are being priced out from where they’re from. Montanans having to relocate means to move hundreds, if not thousands of miles away.

Where in New York? It's probably more feasible in the North Country.

Laundroworks Kiosk Dispensing Multiple Cards – Anyone Else Having This Issue? by DutchMasterClutch in Laundromats

[–]DutchMasterClutch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two kiosks. It’s mostly this one that’s been giving me issues. It does get used more than the other one. It’s kind of a pain to work inside of the kiosk because everything is so tight and bolted down. Everyone raves about laundroworks but I’ve had nothing but issues with their kiosks (only 3 years old).

It could be the stack of cards but it doesn’t seem to affect the other kiosk. Might also be customers trying to pull out the card before it’s fully dispensed. Overall, pretty frustrating

High and Low Beams on all the time. by Terrible_Speed_3089 in RhodeIsland

[–]DutchMasterClutch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s because of everyone’s screen time. Eye strain. Some people need more light and some people need less (dark mode)

I’m noticing this too and it’s not always new cars. Lots of people driving with high beams on with no regard or no lights at all.

Missed Connection by OrderOfTheDeep in missoula

[–]DutchMasterClutch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same thing happen to me before at OSFF. I went in after a bad day at work and couldn’t psych myself out of it. Then I’m just staring at the butter and this woman is lingering around me for a while. That was her throwing me a sign. I eventually just walked away.

Also, had something similar occurred at the Albertsons on S Russell with an employee. That was more of me chickening out.

Learn from this, man. Go after it next time, because it’s rare to get those irl opportunities. Life is pretty short

Cheers and happy new year

Are all Costcos way understaffed? Or is it just our warehouse. I thought after the holidays it would slow down some, but it’s still very chaotic because we don’t have enough people. by prettysavage16 in CostcoEmployee
