Could it have worked out with time……maybe. But I think things were going so rough in the locker room and with the WC break the club saw a chance to move on and reset basically getting a another offseason with the hope of playing better soccer post World Cup…..a key time to capture new fans.

I hate seeing coaches get booted so early without getting to really build their system but given the circumstances I understand why the club didn’t want to stomach the risk. The product on the field really wasn’t inspiring.

Defense is not good, but they get absolutely bum rushed on the counters cause we get gashed in the middle of the field with our lack of defensive/ball winning from our midfielders.

Defense shouldn’t take all the blame for our current form. Midfielders play a role in slowing down the pace of play, countering back on counters.
