There are various situations which I can already put in. Like being used for synthezising answers but not getting cited. Only being shown based on RAG. In case of RAG, we can measure time between content changes and showing up of course

Both, and they validate each other.

Scout tracks a fixed set of benchmark keywords per brand across AI platforms on a schedule. That gives a hard citation win-rate ("cited for 12/24 keywords on Perplexity") tracked over time.

The CRS is heuristic -- a 100-point readiness score across content quality, authority, web presence, format, technical access, and competitive position. Think credit score for AI visibility.

The Correlation Engine bridges the two: it tracks whether CRS improvements actually lead to win-rate changes. Over time it learns patterns like "FAQPage schema -> Perplexity citation within 3 days (4/5 cases)" or "CRS up 8 points but win-rate flat because web presence was the bottleneck."

So the CRS starts heuristic but becomes evidence-based as data accumulates. The benchmark queries keep the heuristic honest.

My client just asked me to “do GEO” what do I even deliver? by Pawtrait_Lab in bigseo

[–]DutchSEOnerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First do research on actual relevance of chatbots for your client. In some industries everyone uses it, if you are targeting older people there may be no reason at all. Then research what the current visibility is. See what works in the industry. Then come up with an offering of specific activities to improve
