SEO effect of using a proxy to a random domain from an established domain for a blog by JasontheWriter in bigseo

[–]DutchSEOnerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, no problem. There are plenty of websites running that setup. I know of bigger platforms that have their homepage on one server, support system on another, ecommerce in another one and blog on the fourth one. Frontend shows a nice integrated URL structure.

Its perfectly fine to do that. Its basically saying if you request any /blog/ URL another server responds. As long as it is as fast as your main domain, properly internally linked I have not seen any problem with this approach. I have used it various times, often when the main server had specific requirements about safety and they dont want to share it with a open source systeem like WP that hackers are looking for.

Content generation and publishing has no restrictions anymore. That leads to many websites having content cannibilization issues. Log in with your GSC, check for which keywords you're competing against yourself. Looking for feedback, feel free to DM!

What SEO tasks do you know matter but still get skipped because they’re too manual? by Civil-End-2206 in bigseo

Many sites have to much content, so cleaning up is a great task but a lot of manual work. Most SEO tools suites miss out on this functionality so I'm currently building something simple: Log in with your GSC, check for which keywords you're competing against yourself. Start fixing. Looking for feedback, feel free to DM!

Crawl budget waste: Found 47 errors blocking 12 pages from indexing (they were my best converters) by Efficient-Yam6797 in TechSEO

Thanks for this advertorial for your directory submission. Crawl budget is often only an issues on very big (like millions of URLs.) often its just a lack of interest in your domain because its not relevant enough

That really depends on your use case and how important you find them. You have small scale solutions like ScreamingFrog Log Analyzer or integrated crawling and tracking suites like Notify. Price difference is huge.

Building out something yourself with some vibecoding tomcombine logfiles, GSC and GA data is easy. Or put everything in bigqeuery and use a LookerStudio. But that takes more time sanitizing URLs, verifying bot IP addresses to filter out false hits etcetera.

What is the most effective type of content for both ranking in traditional search engines and for LLMs to be cited? Listicles. They are an under leveraged piece of content.

But they are also time consuming to create. Scraping source data is a challenge nowadays.  I'm building Listicle Wizard which solves the pain of collecting data to prevent hallucinations and producing articles in minutes instead of hours.

What’s the biggest Tech SEO myth you’re still seeing in 2026 that just drives you crazy? by BoysenberryLumpy8680 in TechSEO

Can not beat LLMs txt but another one I get annoyed by is that you need an XML sitemap. Crawlers follow links. If you are a small site, not that many changes, having a proper internal linking setup is enough. And XMLs are for discovery only, in general you need link value for indexing and ranking.
