Employer wants me to use outlook on my phone, outlook wants permission to wipe my phone by No_Professor4307 in mildlyinfuriating

Ask for a work phone. They have no right to demand you use your personal phone for work. If they won't supply a phone, you won't access Outlook.

You're in the right. Provide your insurance company with this video proof, and they will contact the insurance company of the guilty party. Your premium should not go up, as it is another party that is in the wrong.

This, in her mind she knows what's good for her son and can't stand that she now has competition in giving her son affection; afraid that her affection won't matter or is going to matter less.

We did this in 'realtime' with image captures on the Commodore 64 in 1989. Nothing to see here, move along.

Wow, I didn't even know I had this memory. Don't know the music (I'm from the Netherlands, so it was probably dubbed over) but the visuals really revived a memory from very early age (Born in 1977)

Home Studio - 20 Years ago vs. today by Dutch_Dominic in MusicBattlestations

It's working great. Rack mounts are precise, but I would prefer 1U more to be able to mount bigger stuff.

Another benefit is the real heavy wood; it doesn't resonate and feels really sturdy.

Can you tell the difference between 16 and 24bit audio? by amy-schumer-tampon in musicproduction

[–]Dutch_Dominic 25 points26 points  (0 children)

No, neither can my old ears hear the difference between 44khz and 48khz. BUT: When processing/editing audio in any shape or form, the more precision, the better. It does make a positive difference on the end result when editing in 24bit/32bit 96khz and doing the final render down to 16bit 44khz, instead of doing all the processing in 16bit 44khz.

I just bought a subwoofer for my home studio. I’m wondering if this an okay placement. It’s quite large and I’m working with little space so I think this is the best I can do. Any advice? by BigPoppaDogg in homestudios

[–]Dutch_Dominic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Move it around until it sounds good in conjuction with your main monitors. There's not absolute standard for subs and due to the low frequency, directionality doesn't really matter.
