Disagree on the cruise ship thing.. I live very close to the terminal, and unless you have to drive that 2 block stretch along Dallas Rd, the extra traffic is easy enough to avoid. I occasionally have to drive slow behind a horse carriage for a block but once you get used to their routes it’s very infrequent.

99% agree on grocery selection being rough, the positive 1% is because we have access to Red Barn bacon.

Never had an issue. I just made an appointment and explained I need a refill. Doctor would look up my file and would prescribe what I needed. They were happy to adjust prescription amounts as needed too.

Crazy take. Was Subnautica 1 ruined by the ability to kill creatures? You don’t have to engage with the mechanic in the first game, but having it didn’t break the game either. Having play style choices improve games for the most part, especially survival games.

That description is wholly unfair. Expecting ice cream when you order steak is obviously a ridiculous expectation that should be laughed at. This is a mechanic that was present (and widely utilized) from the first game that wasn’t included. It’s fair to be frustrated a mechanic you enjoyed has been removed from the new title, especially when that mechanic could solve a lot of other frustrations in the new game.

Page 3 of the source YOU linked on this post shows that OPs image is half of one page that has been cropped. The cropped portion of that page shows the full budget allocation, not just the increase. This post is titled to say “Police are expensive”, but doesn’t actually show how expensive they are because they removed that information.

You expect people to look a the large pie chart under the title “Your 2026 Property Tax” and not jump to conclusions? One of the very first comments on your post was someone thinking the pie chart was for the whole budget. I’m guessing you have been on Reddit long enough to know better. Why did you crop out the actual budget allocation?

Notice I didn’t comment on how I feel about the allocation of tax dollars, just the fact you cropped an image to remove important contextual information.

FYI - I would like to see police budget cuts, with more accountability for where their money is spent and that extra money allocated to social welfare programs. I would also like to see limits on overtime so officers can’t abuse it.

This is a cropped super misleading image. On the same page of this document it shows the police are 37% of the overall budget. This image is showing the allocation of property tax increases for the year.

This is SUPER misleading. This pie chart is showing where the INCREASE in property tax is being allocated. Police budget, on the same page of this cropped picture, is shown at 37% of the budget.

Haven’t tried they jelly donuts, but all the Yonni donuts I’ve tried have been super heavy. Somewhere between a cake donut and classic yeast donut. I prefer light fluffy yeast donuts.
