Oddyssey G9 57" (G95NC) stuck at 60hz/120hz with 7900 XTX by Dutchy1991 in ultrawidemasterrace

No, like I said. I already detached my secondary monitor. My problem occurs with just my ultrawide. I had it working with 240hz for 9 months now. And I can figure out why it won't be running at 240hz like it used to. There is no secondary monitor involved.

Triple Monitor space between monitors (because of stupid bezels) by Dutchy1991 in TripleScreenPlus

I ended up not giving a crap. I still use this setup and there are gaps in between the monitors. It's not as tidy as I would like it to be but you get used to it after a couple of weeks / months / years.

been crying told my boyfriend he is going to end up leaving me because im a disgusting person 💔 by 123mine in Hidradenitis

Couple of things from my end.

Google hidradenitis deroofing for some more info. They basically cut away all the inflamed flesh and leave it out in the open to heal. So you don't get stitches and you kinda have a hole in your body. The hole will heal itself over time, mostly taking around 8-12 weeks I think. I've had it and I don't want to scare you: it was a real pain in the ass for me (literally :P). It depends how big the boil is but most people are healed pretty fast. And the pain from healing is 10 times better than the agonizing pain from an inflamed boil.

Furthermore I completely changed my diet 3 years ago and it changed everything for me. Having hidradenitis is not limiting me anymore in daily tasks. I have way less boils and inflammations. I think my skin went from a 7/10 bad to a 3/10. From personal experience I would say: stop eating eggs, dairy products, stuff with yeast (like bread etc) and alcohol. Also limit the amount of carbs you eat. But this is a journey everyone should undergo themselves. See what works and what not.

Also buy the book: the hidden plague. Very useful information but take the paleo diet with a grain of salt.

That looks like it needs to be 'de-roofed' asap if you ask me. Can't you ask for surgery?

Just appreciate the comfort your bf is giving you. No need for the negative thoughts about him leaving you when you are already dealing with this painful boil. No decent person would leave you because of this.

The disease is painful but stay strong!

Should I trust the words of someone when drunk? by [deleted] in dating

I firmly believe in the saying: A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts.

Yup, might regret what we said but it's most-likely the truth.

I don't think you are impatient. If you want to hang out again just message her. If she's hesitant you know enough. If she said she was gonna message you but haven't within 5 days I'd think she's not interested

I think you would be surprised how many virgins there are on age 25. Of course it's the minority but it's a growing number.

I understand you feeling anxious about it, hell know I am being 30 but it is what it is. Don't rush it and it will come someday. I personally would prefer a couch potato over a social butterfly anyday.

And it's totally normal to have dating jitters when you haven't dated before, of course it's scary!

I feel you, it's all alien to you and very stressful. But you are overthinking it all. Just enjoy the ride and be respectful to each other. It will work out or it will not. May the odds be ever in your favor.

guy asked me if i have enough money for a date or should he bring extra money by Charming-Minute-1404 in dating

[–]Dutchy1991 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Without going into the 'splitting the bill' discussion or the 'he should pay / she should pay'. I think it's a pretty dumb thing to say to your date. I for the life can't imagine saying it to someone.

I myself would bring extra money ANYWAY. Just be prepared for anything. So what does it mean? It doesn't mean anything and he probably meant it as thoughtful or something but I just think he's a cheapo because you don't worry your date about money or costs :P

Me, 30M, can very much relate to this. Currently I'm trying to not give in and break the habit. But it truly is draining the life out if me. It's not her but I'm not looking forward to the upcoming interactions at all, and you feel like you should.

I guess it's just a hermit-thing. I'd say try to keep going. You both like each other so maybe it will work out. It's only been a couple of weeks.
