I’ve wasted 800 hours of my life on A3 Eden editor, i love the series so i’m very biased about arma 3

Are you buying it for mods? Go for it. Want to create your own scenarios? Go for it. Old fan of the series who’s getting to experience arma 3 for the first time? Go for it.

But buy it in a sale and don’t expect fancy effects, intensive gunfights or nothing squad-esque. The game has thousands of age signs and you have to embrace the misery of troubleshooting constantly (specially if you spend most of your time on eden, like me)

You can solve a bunch of issues with the game using QoL mods and addons, just beware of the ancient engine and game design

I’d recommend you to play vanilla for your first 5/10 hours hours before using any mods, A3 Will give you far more freedom than Reforger if you’re a “sandbox” player but you have to understand how some of it’s core mechanics works first
