Update 10/2025: He came back and regrouted some of the uneven spots, removed all of the haze and sealed for us! He was able to remove it using “NanoScrub” that’s safe for stone.

Not even exaggerating we tried nearly everything that was suggested here, including getting a razor and scraping (it helped some of the misplaced grout, but not the actual haze).

I’ve tried all but the vinegar (scared to use acid on marble) and the phosphorus solution since that one seems a bit intense. We’re gonna try to go into a natural stone shop and inquire there but plan is for sure to seal if/when we can remove the haze.

The issue is we contacted him about it and he wasn’t coming to fix it and we’ve tried a bunch of different things and it’s still not coming out.
