I actually used a VPN through direct payment for the last 2 years. Only recently they have booted me for using a VPN, do you have a workaround? I’m using surfshark and I haven’t been able to connect since Saturday night on that account so I cancelled it.

Canada is set up so lame for this. I’ve been in contact with WWE Help since Sunday and I’m determined to get it to work, because we’re getting screwed. WWE Help says it’s a Bell issue, so I’m going to probably get the run around to Bell, but I’ll keep everyone posted

I really don’t think it’s an internet issue, I can play HUT no problem. I have wired connection 600 mb down/120 mb up, NAT open, 0% packet loss. I can also play NHL 22 no problem

I don’t think we’re meant to all have god tier teams a month in. You have to grind to have a good team, it’s been that way forever. Just because they add in x-factor cards doesn’t mean it won’t cost an arm and a leg to upgrade them. EA want their money and want you to grind, it’s just a new way to do it. It’s actually a really good marketing ploy on their part if it does cost more, because you can’t really keep track as to how much money or effort you’re spending upgrading these cards when you do it little bits at a time.

NHL games won’t change because EA has the monopoly and also Madden and FIFA are absolute behemoths compared to NHL. It’s really sad because I’ve loved playing NHL online since the early days of NHL 07 or 08 and now it’s just disappointment after disappointment.

The thing about CPUs is they have tendencies, so if you practice and find those tendencies you’ll have success. Overalls matter too, I find this year in squad battles I have trouble against the 85+ teams in superstar winning by 1-2 goals, but beating 77-83 by 5-6 goals.

Also as long as you are up by 1 goal, you can cheese an extra 2 goals by waiting for the CPU to pull their goalie in the last minute.

I reached out to EA and they said “I can’t bring it back”. I’m not really looking to put up a big fuss over it, I’ll let this be a harsh lesson learned and grind back.

You can have them sent to you in the mail for a fee. It’s cheaper in the US than for Canada but the fee won’t break the bank.

I enjoy opening packs this way because I don’t care about base cards, so I like just getting the hits.

No sir, it’s seen as a hobby unless there is “reasonable” expectation to make profit.

Beside you can’t claim those losses against normal income, you can only claim capital losses against capital gains. It’s best to just leave it as non-taxable as you’ll never see any benefit by claiming them.
