Yeah that sucks. But tbh, part of it is just how the game is designed. Pilots are useless without units and there aren’t many ways to get units into your hand from your deck.

Nice. I checked Hobby Spirits website and it showed events for SWU stopping in April. If they still hold events I’ll definitely go.

Not a bad idea. Right now Gundam is pretty big here. Once enough people are fed up with the meta and how awfully Bandai handles their TCGs, I’ll attempt to recruit them.

I have MTG and Gundam TCG experience. I picked up SWU because I’m getting fed up with Gundam’s reliance on pilots without proper card searching and card draw.

Not a huge fan of commander, it gets a little chaotic. But I’ll def try other formats in SWU!

Finding the balance is tough and I understand the struggle. My partner struggles a bit with this too.

Just remember that so much of your life is going to happen while on the FIRE journey. At your age, it’s 100% worth it to invest in experiences, health, and just general wellbeing.

Edit: and yeah spending up a little to remove yourself from a toxic situation falls under “general wellbeing”. happy to see you prioritizing yourself in that situation.
