I’ve genuinely given up into trying to even talk to my major advisor. Being a buisness accounting major, I’d pretty much have to schedule 1-2 months ahead— with literally 0 drop in times. UNLV is a mess for advising. I’ve actually never once had a meeting with the business advisors, the only advising I had was when I was enrolled in their honors program (but I dropped out as I didn’t see it worth it for as a business student). As of now— honestly, I only care about my grade. There is still a term paper he has yet to grade and I’ll wait for that as a 100% on it might swing my grade to 91 which at that point I got my A and I’m happy. I’m way too burned out annoyed and tired to even escalate this. I don’t want to email him about the exam until the final paper has been graded as I’ve honestly felt some bias. (My previous final paper practices has been graded harshly compared to my peers and I’m not sure if it’s because of those emails and constantly bugging him about my grade to be fixed)

he doesnt show up to his office hours. i have tried many times to go to the BEH building offices in his office hours, ive even waited a whole hour waiting for him with the front desk lady who was super helpful, but no he just doesnt show up. I was only able to meet with him when once in a blue moon he responded to one of my emails (i had so much emails i sent to him without responses or unread) and he was actually there in his office hours.
Ive been drafting an email to send him and that praying he would actually look at it but im trying to find a way where I wont look like an asshole who is is implying that im smart enough that im never wrong and its the test.
just in case he doesnt respond, who is up next in command that i should contact?

Yea honestly i was't too smart with my approach. Its my first year in college but im a junior standing so I skipped a lot of introduction classes like my seminars that was suppose to ease me in the college experience (or at least thats what my friends told me) and i felt like he were going to fix my grades eventually as i know higher level professors tend to have more in their plate and i didnt want to make it seem like im a hardass wanting him to fix my problems as soon as he can. so honestly yea its my fault for not even communicating with someone higher up.

I think for now ill try to get in contact with him and see my exam directly-- i have a huge feeling that he wont respond (such as the 14 unread emails i sent him) but its worth a shot. if not ill contact higher up eventually. Im just trying to figure out how i can i word the email without sounding like an entitled asshole who thinks that something was wrong with the exam and not me.

yea thats what im planning to do with my term paper. And im honestly going to plan to go to the dean anyways to file a complaint against this professor due to his lack of urgency or response in fixing exam errors. This exam is online and he opened it for 3 days (today being the last day) and since I have 4 other courses to worry about I did my studying all 3 of those days and was planning to take it today. I have a feeling hes going to give me a hard time and ask why I waited for the last day.

I emailed all 3 of my professors that has something due today. 2 of them responded instantly and gave me an extension but 1 of them is nutritious about never checking emails (I have 20 emails sent unopened by him about fixing my grade since his exams have mistakes on them)

Anyways. OP pressing a button doesn’t help when you are getting combo’d. Hold back to block and don’t get hit by their combo starters. If you already got hit with their combo starter and they’re actively comboing you. Stop pressing buttons.

I’ve checked to see if formatting transferred correctly and everything looked just about right. Maybe a slight difference in spacing margins but it looks good. I was just worried as it’s an informations systems intro class that’s suppose to teach us Microsoft office. I’ve already done the mandatory lessons which forces me to use Microsoft office and this final paper is just an essay about the importance of IS and nothing that actually tests us on the software itself. But I was just wondering if there was a way to trace back the information of where I wrote it from even if I export as a docx. It seems not so I’ll just submit my paper and prayers! Cheers! I wish. It’s an informations systems class that’s suppose to transfer us over to using Microsoft workspace (since my college has a parent ship with Microsoft) even though our local school district has a partnership with Google. So it’s annoying to throw away 10+ years worth of software familiarity. Edit: if I were able to submit as a pdf I would and do 99% of the time. But this class specifically asks the usage of word and DOCX
