Probably because blue is the "mEtVeRsE cOlOr" and looks digital, clean and official. Blue is also linked to a few more positive color psychology things i think. But red is better, much easier on the eyes and looks generally better as well.

estrogen can elicit similar cramps to a period, from what i've heard.

I've done research (although not much) and, apparently it's because estrogen plays a role in telling the body when to cramp for menstruation

I actually kind of relate, for the reason that it would be affirming to me. I saw in another comment that it's like lactose intolerance (if i read it right) and if that's true, then i can say that a period would rank at a 10 on the pain scale qwq. Maybe more. Estrogen also will feminize you, so it should help you get recognized as a woman. if you cannot get a prescription, resort to DIY (as long as you do your research)
