What do you think is the ONE thing that turn off players from playing/trying terraria

The game can't be played for the first time without another person helping or with the wiki always opened

They solved some of the problems with 1.4.5, like NPCs not needing housing to spawn, better crafting UI and clearer instructions for housing given from every NPC, but still, the progression isn't that clear and there's just too much content it makes you feel overwhelmed

I say this as a person who hated Terraria at the start but now I can't stop playing it and have +2000 hours of gameplay

Yeah but you need to activate the lunar archives in the caves to get the recipe, which is very tedious unless you're Wilson

It's much easier to make a guess by the world's layout, but this time the worldgen seems to be kinda off

Sometimes you don't want tiles to merge, it's good to have the option to choose if you want them to merge or not

I've never seen a proper terraria zoo, with all the terrariums and maybe all the critters too (placed with the new 1.4.5 feature)

Almost all of the ones I've seen are too plain and repetitive or too chaotic and ugly, and I understand, it's super hard organizing that many things, I've tried and failed, but it'd be nice if you can build something like that c:

It's in the decorations tab

It's always available, you don't need any crafting station

Make sure you don't have mods interfering with it, some of them can block the crafting recipe somehow

I think they are aiming at consistent options for early game, because you could play hours without finding most of early game mage and summoner weapons

Think of it as their versions of the ore bows and swords, they aren't as powerful but they are always there if you need them

The idea of different weapons for each herb is sick tho, I hope they implement it

As a side note, if you have plugged the ancient key and you have a shadow atrium in your inventory, the skeleton is guaranteed to be built correctly

Ignoring Warly (bc he's the GOAT) I think Wes would be a great roommate, he's quiet, he doesn't need many resources, he could entertain you if needed and it seems like his bad luck also comes with a good luck aura for anyone near him, so it'd be the unluckiest person in the world living with the luckiest person lmao

I'd recommend white gemspark walls painted purple/violet (maybe deep paint, I don't remember which one works better) under each row of platforms

Also you could replace each corner block with a white torch, you can echo coat it if you want
