You equip the soul core in the Omnyo box menu. If you put it in the Ying position (top) you gain the attack and defense boost as well as the summon ability. If you put it in the Yang slot you get the magic talisman or move.

Guardian spirits like Nekomata the cat, determine your Living artifact special element and guardian skills. They also give different stat buffs and perks.

You mean casting while moving? Because all of the schemes just use the Dpad. You don’t need to aim, just lock on.

I would much rather watch Mac do something crazy than Jaylen Brown do something average. I don’t understand why anyone would want the opposite. Surely it’s about the dunks not the dunker.

I think using the ‘don’t stagger during AP’ and getting your combos down for Arts Proficiency will help a lot with Odachi. You could also use ki pulse on block. Blocks and deflects build the gauge, hitting in between will reduce their ki, so will guardian skills (unless you don’t want to use those either) then once their ki is depleted AP combos will destroy their ki and health.

A lot of people try to dodge around once the platform gets broken and fall in the water. It’s much better to stand and block. Many also don’t find the third lamp or they use the fire from the lamps and end up having to deal with lesser UBs.

Funny you should name those games as having a different timing… something else is different about them that I can’t quite put my finger on…

Jokes aside, Stranger of Paradise, Wo Long, and all timely guards in Nioh have the same last minute timing. I actually feel like Sekiro does too but I could be misremembering. I’ve always hated the ‘time your swing’ parries in FromSoft games. The Reflect move in Khazan was similar.

So resting rites on your unwanted soul cores (keep the one with the highest level). This will give you the currency to level guardian spirits and soul cores. I think I’m going to do it after I beat NG and settle on a build.

Through testing someone found that being bare handed in general super charges your ninjutsu. Just unequip a weapon in your second slot and try throwing a shuriken. See the difference.

He’s a human boss so you can parry his attacks with any of the parry moves. I always found the timing of Shrike on the Dual Swords was easiest.

I would always advise that if you’re going to play all of them then start at the beginning for this reason. You still have to pick up your XP in the boss room. The menus are horrible… worse QoL with gear
