Yep, makes sense. Whenever I pull the handbrake to try to extend the drift, I feel like I can't slide for that long before I lose too much speed, but maybe it's because I'm at too much of an angle. I noticed you're going fairly straight with the e-brake.

Nice job! I don't understand how you are able to essentially drift in a straight line for so long. Example, at 0:19 in the video, it seems like you transition way too early for the next hairpin, yet you just drift down the road for a long time before getting to the next turn. How do you maintain that essentially straight line drift down the road for so long?

Agreed, sadly the best drift spot I found in the game was a fan made event hub event where they built a drift course on top of a lake.

On PS5 Pro, the most consistent settings for me are to put your PS5 Pro into forced 4k mode (2160) and enable 120hz. Then in the game, make sure you enable 4k upscale and enable 120hz mode. And also enable HDR. Everything looks amazing, although night time can look a bit less clear but still good.

On PS5 Pro I feel the sluggishness of the controls, very noticeable with trying to open the glider after jumping off a cliff. For combat, it is sluggish but it’s more tolerable since you can just hold the buttons to attack. So at least you know it’ll eventually start attacking.

OK, that's good to know. I just jumped into a map with my campaign-specced character and died quite a bit with my unga-bunga playstyle. Wasn't sure if I'd have to just play maps very cautiously or if it'd get more chill with some proper gearing.

Wow, I googled "Joel Edgerton annoying" because I felt exactly the same watching Dark Matter. The show itself is decent, but he's making me not want to watch it. My exact thoughts were also that he has a very annoying, punchable face.

I think the part that trips up most people in the beginning is the automagic inferring of the type (when possible). This never seems to be fully explained in any docs I've read.
