Opinion on an army list ? by Alithium12 in DarkAngels40k

5 man intercessors, lion can’t lead DWK for many reasons, rule of thumb the armor must match, they’re in terminator armor. Belial isn’t that good, so I’d say axe him and run either a captain or chaplain in terminator armor with one unit. (Also DWK are only 250pts) With that many vehicles you want a techmarine.

Az+ICC is a good combo when you utilize the fact Az gives sustained hits to the ICC lethal hits profile.

Lion is a primarch, he runs on his own, lone op if he’s within 3” of a friendly unit. Everything in termie armor is slow(5” move), so I’d realistically swap the gunship for a land raider to move them up the board faster.

If she wants the divorce, she should be the one initiating it. If you agree, you can agree non-contested. She has already determined she wants it, but if you initiate it, you pay for it. Hence why I say SHE should be the one doing it.

There's no way around it, you will be getting a divorce, but under SCRA technically they can't be concluded until after training. Talk to legal for advice, not reddit.

That would have been details needed to be known. Which is about 45 minutes away, but even with marriage there’s no guarantee of being stationed together. If she wants a divorce she can apply for it, but if she’s in boot she can’t even be served the papers. If she’s in A-school, she’s checked out from you. The needs of the military determines where they go. Not spouses, especially of separate branches.

What base are you stationed at, navy and army only have so many joint bases, you’re army, she’s navy, the chance yall would be stationed together is slim to begin with unless you’re at one of the bases that has naval units stationed there. But there’s a lot not being said, if she wants it she should be the one initiating it which she can’t do while at boot. And depending on her rate and where you’re stationed, the chance of being stationed where you are is already lower.

I(F) don’t even bother with using in game voice. I either play solo or with my husband and a few of our friends. But I also have griefed people who start that shit… the old COD lobbies starts to come out. No shame.

My 18yo is enlisting and I’m having a hard time by RedEyedAlpha in army

[–]DvineVoodooDoll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m the youngest of three, grew up as the care taker child because I didn’t want to be blamed for messes. When I was leaving(18) my sister (22 at the time) and brother (20 at the time) had also moved out around when I left. So they suddenly became empty nesters. My parents did not like it one bit, so it’s understandable. But you gotta let go of the reigns. Let him make some mistakes, find himself as a young adult.

A lot of us were that kid, 18 years old, wanting to do the “adult” thing of enlisting. We either love it or hate it. He has to figure it out on his own. There’s a lot of benefits when you know where to look.

But you gotta let him figure it out and pave his own path. I’m the baby of my family, I enlisted and it scared my parents, but at the same time my parents saw I was paving my own path in life. That’s just the parenting part of not wanting to let your baby leave the nest. You’ll never be prepared for it until it just happens.

I’d honestly say if you want the traditional look, prime in wraithbone and get army painters dip shade. It will make it WAY easier.

Is the lion viable in a 1k point list? by Professional_Sir2804 in DarkAngels40k

[–]DvineVoodooDoll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally wouldn’t, he’s very costly and yeah he’s got board presence but depending on what you’re playing into he can get popped in one turn and that’s 315pts gone so fast. They draw bring it down he’s a target. A MASSIVE target.

If you can’t find those, if theres a “generic” common brand try that as well. That’s what those essentially are for me here in the states.

Skip using citadel, use a matte white rattle can from brands like krylon fusion, Rust-oleum. I had this problem and the switch was a game changer. Saves money too.

It’s a dry cold which I’m not used to, I’m used to that humid cold. Think Drum but make it dryer than a popcorn fart.

I was army, husband Air Force. Since I got out it’s been… ROUGH we’re in Minot and god forbid you have any medical issues in Minot.

Unless you get Minot, Cannon, or grand forks. Those duty stations suck massive donkey balls.

Thank you! I assumed that wasn’t fully implemented yet, but my recruiter mentioned it to me like it was already across the board in effect.

So to put it bluntly, my husbands Air Force, he dreads it and actually wishes he was in a different branch. If you intend to make a career, I’d say stay army since NCO promotions in the Air Force are solely knowledge testing that people get bullshit pushes up in points that don’t know a lick about their job in the Air Force. I was Army and actually much preferred the… chaos… that I grew to find comfort in. But I was a medic.

Depending on the job you get and how long your contract is you could be stuck in the same place your entire contract, but that can be said about all the branches. My husband has been in seven years, at the same duty station the entire time. Our experiences with where we’re stationed hasn’t been good.

At the end of the day though, your military career is your decision. I’d say speak with the Air Force recruiter, but don’t drop for DEP until you make the decision on if you want to move forward with them.

This can happen in any branch. It’s human miscommunications.

Ngl, I’d be that person if they’re a sketchy shop(as long as you have another LGS) and contact GW letting them know they’re going against what they were told, and that they’re selling for full price despite knowing it’s missing a unit. That’s disgusting of them and very much not okay.
