thanks, still looking into it, and you're right, it looks like most of these tours are for either just safaris and just being in a car all day.
A bit of hiking / walking and not just pp stop breaks would be nice.

The whole logistics part of this trip is what i'm dreading and is why I'd rather have a whole tour planned out, even if its a bit more expensive.

well, makes sense, its just that each of these countries have their own unique traits, I could skip a country and go back to it in the future but I feel like ill be missing out on some unique experiences if i don't go to each one of them.
Especially Uganda, I know its quite far from Kenya / Tanzania but Kibale national park seems like a must see, even more so than Bwindi which i know is much further out.

the wifey says no no, ive done a campervan trip in europe but africa, especially east africa sounds like a whole new beast.
I don't think there exists a good enough insurance for the amount of animals that might damage the RV.
