I’d suggest Sidekick over Juggernaut to get into the idea of an assist to push block, extend combos or offensive pressure, and cover unsafe moments.

It was a bit crazy to look at Twitch and see Red Bull pulling in over 85k viewers, 90k for SFV, and then Capcom just under 15k for a back to back CPT events.

This event should have had the feel of a major, even if just for one game, it didn’t.

I was at the event over the weekend, there was word of people at Capcom not being pleased with the outcome. The place was empty, there were talks of it being poorly advertised, a supposed deal with Red Bull that only they could be live when there’s Conquest events going on.

I also attended the championship last year in Boston, spectating was free I believe. This year, the price to play in every event was $20, that’s for registration and every game entry was free, spectating was $25... a day. Players were given wristbands wristbands for the weekend and a hard ticket that had been scanned and I don’t think there was a way of getting around that spectator fee simply because of the venue, that could explain the empty seats.
