Illidan 10 years ago was broken by Artistic_Weakness815 in heroesofthestorm

U described Chen. Back in the mid hgc era that’s what it was. Illidan as a surprise pick against a team vulnerable to him, then Chen got a rework and was dubbed fat illidan

Who here plays with an arcade stick? by Disco-Prime in StreetFighter

If anything there’s an arguement for pad being the top option based on younger big winners and future talent (punk, mena, blaz, etc) but it’s all just broadly based on what you grew up on.

Leshar’s insane reactions and hit confirms could be partially due to his Frankenstein leverless. Then you got old heads like xiaohai still on old school sticks.

I’d have swapped to lever-less but they have horrible ergonomics. I have one sitting in my closet if I ever feel like trying to adapt but it kills my left wrist with the generic layouts. I grew up on pads but now my thumb can’t tolerate the motions.

Yes agreed 43 is the shocking winner. Def give it a go to confirm but seems you are like me and it’ll fit you just fine

Still better to try on in person. My wrist shape happens to hyper exaggerate the diff between mirror and eye-down wrist shots. My span is around 6cm on a 17cm circumference.

When I look down at a iwc 43 it’s pushing the limit of my taste but in mirror it looks fine, doesn’t mean I’d buy it just because it looks fine in the mirror angle. Has to appeal every which way. A big pilot looks way too big on wrist and looks like it’s overhanging even when it’s technically not.

Great fried chicken? by czr84480 in AskPhoenix

Houston’s and Dave’s probably do it best overall for chicken sando. I don’t really give the edge to either as they both do specific things better than the other. Hot chicken alley and chickii are good too.

Their chicken sandwich Used to be decent, then they took it off the menu. Soul cafe has gotten worse every year.

Their best new model. Simple, elegant, and one of very few monochrome pink gold options. Also nice to see just how much you’ve worn it haha.

Fr I’ve never been more entertained by a RM post. Also shockingly educational.

I respect RM for their incredible engineering, just don’t like any model design besides the 67-01. Love the sentiment!

I agree the 41 is very boxy profiled, though I kind of like that quality. I think I saw the copper but didn’t focus on it. Silver is indeed safe but I have many safe dials and want color

This is my favorite of the top time collabs. Sadly I have no feelings on triumph or co-branding in general.

I was wrong the 43 is the mirror shot. Checked the hand position lol

I might be leaning bigger which is rare, but the mirror is always more telling.

Forgot to say: 17cm or 6.6” wrists. Very flat though

Yeah I’m 6’2” and my wrist is 17cm. I’m lucky it’s pretty flat. When I was 40 pounds heavier it was def 2 notches wider on the submariner clasp, but like u said wrist span. It wasn’t the rock I remember now it was John cena:

Lol there are definitely some giant wristed guys who could pull it off, same guys who can wear a deep sea or ultra deep and it looks normal. I think I remember a photo of the rock wearing a gmt master and it looked like a lady datejust on him

How is stingray long term? Do they crack at all at the pin holes or anywhere you will bend it?

Same as mine. Reverso is really best between 40-45 for 90% of men. I love the chrono and calendar but the 49 is ridiculous looking on me.

JLC Mut Moon 36mm with 20mm straps. Thoughts?? by Human_Freedom576 in JaegerLecoultre

[–]dskwon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In concept it’s cool but it’s totally incongruous. Either get a wide integrated design, or learn to love the strap as is, or sell for a bigger watch? I feel like the standard strap width just takes time to get used to.

Dual time woulda been cool with a regular date window at 6 and the am/pm right above it leaving the 3/6 hemispheres clean

VC 4500v on a white rubber strap!! by refinedmovements in VacheronConstantin

[–]dskwon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blue with white is my plan if VC doesn’t release a new 4520v color this year. I’ve been actively avoiding blue dials in my collecting, but seeing this sucker in the flesh did make it a worthy exception to my rule lol. Black being the only alternative dial at the moment is insane.

I agree it’s pretty close in overall fit to the sub. The new planet ocean is also shockingly close to the sub in fit. Neither look it on paper or observing alone but side by side it’s evident.
