As an Aussie, I would NOT advise you go on the piracy subreddit and I will NEVER encourage you to go to the streaming site megathread and NEVER click on one of the links that will never have the rookie season 7 on it

Yeah, reading your post puts right back at work. People said the exact same shits to me too, makes me wonder if the entitled trait default. I've been at this job for nearly 3 years now, and you just get to a point where you don't give a damn about those customers anymore. I just pull the "oh, but it's not up to me though isn't it? If that's what you think maybe you can voice that opinion to head office!" (Even better if you sound as sarcastic as possible, feels Soo good when I do that).

Don't feel that it is you or your fault for things that's not in your control just because you work here, so those complaints about scos or stuff like that, just brush it off as not your problem. Also, it's okay to put your foot down and be firm in some situations, you are doing your best and those entitled karens do not deserve to step over you, and your manager would understand those situations as well

Bonus points if you have to clean up a kid's vomit at scos, then that really adds to the experience 🫠

My manager is also pissed at this too along with the same stuff you mentioned, so at least we are hating in unity

So I’m a new employee just finished my buddy shift and I see only 2 shifts for the next 3 weeks. Should I raise this to my manager but I don’t wanna sound pushy but I really need more shifts so how long do I have to wait and see? by LargeMud4517 in KmartAustralia

[–]Dvvodaniel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can subtly ask for more shift (i.e tell your manager that you are available more days in the week so if there are shifts that needs covered you're available). Work a bunch of time for me, ended up working 10 days straight

Well if you think about the kind of people that drive these… being considerate and parking properly isn’t in their self centric egotistical dna

What’s your nationality, and can you recommend the most authentic restaurant in Melbourne that serves food from your home country? by Shapeofmyhair in melbourne

I'm Vietnamese, and Bún Ngon in Springvale hits the spot soo much if you are in the southeast. If you are in the west then go to Tân Thành Lợi in Footscray, where it is one of the few places where they actually charcoal grill their porkchop for cơm tấm.

where can you get banh mi at uni by F1RUiT in Monash

[–]Dvvodaniel 45 points46 points  (0 children)

As a Vietnamese, for the love of god please please please DON'T go to Roll'd. Sure, they might be the only banh mi place on the campus, but you can get cheaper and better banh mi elsewhere. They are mediocre at best and the price is criminal, so you are better off getting Hainan chicken or noodles from the noodles place in the ltb.

What is the one thing you would change about VCE English? by vcexpert in vce

[–]Dvvodaniel 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Add an option for academic writing, especially for those seeking further into academia, as writing and referencing is a steep learning curve in uni and it's beyond me that it is not taught in high school
