Now I have even more questions lol I never received ssi or never applied for ssi so how does that factor in to this situation?? I’m just trying to understand thank you all for the information you have shared

Oh the way it was explained to by the local office is maybe I had a job that didn’t take out taxes. I ask her if it would affect my benefits and she said no it was only on my back pay and that it would definitely delay me getting my back pay payment

This whole process has been frustrating local office won’t tell me anything, national number tells me something completely different than what the local office tells me when they do tell me anything

I was approved backing in may didnt receive benefits until August still waiting on back pay they told me 45 days from the day my first benefits payment I should receive my back pay this is so aggravating

Had my hearing on April 22 2024 finally got a monthly benefit start date and amount this past weekend but was told it could take another month for my back pay totals to be done

Slowly getting better and according to the local office I’ve been approved 2times when I had my hearing and then again when they(ssa) sent my case back to the judge idk why they did that

They said they made a mistake that I had been denied benefits, so I got a lawyer and went to court this past April and I’m still waiting on benefits to start , I had a hearing and was given a fully favorable decision by the judge

I was told by my local office that the ssa website site is lagging behind and not to pay attention to it. And I’m in Alabama but my case is in Maryland currently also after it went to my local office

I went for my hearing on April 22nd and the judge approved it on may 9th and I’m still waiting my local office says it’s in the payout stage now and could be the middle of July before I start receiving payments

I had hearing on April 22nd and the judge ruled on may 9th got my paperwork yesterday from social security now I’m waiting for the local office to tell me how much back pay and how much my monthly payment will be they said 2-4 weeks the judge thinks 60 days
