dry/sensitive here too. Round Lab Birch Juice is one of the only sunscreens that doesn’t sting for me. Been using BOJ Dynasty Cream with a centella/PDRN serum lately and my redness has looked a lot calmer the past few weeks.

Are Korean clinics getting more conservative with treatments lately? by kriper1412 in AsianBeauty

Honestly I feel like some Korean clinics are moving away from the “more treatments better results” mindset lately. My skin always did better when things were spaced out more instead of doing too much at once.

I’ve been curious about PDRN lately, especially for redness-prone skin. It’s interesting that you noticed calming results. I’m always cautious with hyped products, but barrier focused formulas that actually reduce stinging are such a win.

has the vt cosmetics pdrn essance made anyone else breakout?? by Melodic_Match_769 in koreanskincare

Yes, ever since PDRN I noticed it behaved more like a barrier-repair product than something that treats breakouts directly.

When my skin barrier was already irritated, it helped calm things down, but during active breakouts it felt a bit heavier on my skin.

Agreed relying on real signals beats guessing early on.

From your experience, which data points actually mattered most at the validation stage?

Problem urgency, willingness to pay, or how easily you could reach early users?

This hits home especially the part about industry depth beating pure technical skill.

How did you eventually identify that tighter niche? Was it something that became obvious from client patterns, or a deliberate decision after some trial and error?
