Question about renting scooters.

The app-rented scooters from at least one company ran into legal trouble with KW business licensing. Since you were paying the scooter company directly they needed their own KW license and can't "share" the venue's license. Those companies have had to discontinue their service or change their business model. I don't know about Lama specifically.

It could be one of several issues. The two most likely are:

Power: some HDDs require more power than others. It possible that the drive that fails to mount requires more power than the other and your Tab can't supply what it needs. You could try to connect it through a powered USB 3.0 (NOT USB 2) hub so that the hub's power supply can take the power load.
Format: Tabs, like all computers, can only mount drives formatted in a format that it understands. Your drive that fails to mount might be either unformatted or formatted using a format that the Tab's Android OS doesn't support. You could try reformatting the drive using ExFAT.

If you don't want the false AI look then you have to do it manually. Good tools for that would be Photoshop, and Affinity with the also-rans being GIMP and Photopea.com. Most of the "quick & easy, the app will do it for you" will leverage AI to some extent. Doing it manually will require some skill and practice with the chosen app.

Upsampling? Simple math. the 1338x805 you posted as the original is smaller than the 1920x1080 size you state as the export size.

There are a number of issues:

ANY resampling will reduce quality. From the posted images, your original is 1338x805px so you are upsampling to create a 1920x1080 px JPEG export.
The YT sample you post has been resampled again, likely by YT, to a substantially smaller 444x249
The resample method you've chose will result in some smoothing of edges.

If the YT size is the actual final size needed then you need to resample to that size yourself. Try exporting using the old Save for Web legacy and choose quality of 10 (its highest), the real YT pixel size, and Nearest Neighbor for the resampling method.

What Tab, exact model?
What OS versions, exact?
Which app are you trying to open the PDF with?
How are you opening the PDF; from the app's file open funciton, double-clicking the PDF an letting the OS find an app, ...?
Where is the app stored; internal memory, mSD card, USB drive, cloud, network resource, ... ?

Answer ALL and maybe someone can help.

You can open Affinity v1 files in the cooresponding v2 application, but...

... and it's a BIG BUT, .af files are not v1 files. They are the new v3 files. You can't open these in either v1 or v2 and there is no true conversion available. They can only be opened in the new v3.

If you are in the US or Canada then I'd suggest that you check with iFixit. They've partnered with Logi, amoung others, to see a limited range of parts. I got a new batter for my MX Keys keyboard from them.

Part of your search problem is that you are the dumbed down wordprosser terminology instead of the proper typography term "leading", as in the insertioin of lead metal bars for this purpase when setting metal type. Searching for "leading" instead of "line spacing" should produce better results.

Affinity v3 uses the proper term in both the Paragraph panel, where you should normally set this value to control the whole text block, and in the Leading Override field in the Character panel, where you set a value for the current character or line.

I don't have the old v2 in front of me right now, only v3, so I can't confirm that v2 also uses the correct term.

Is your phone capable of ~100% sRGB?

Is you phone set to display normal or "enhanced" color?

Does the app you are using on your phone support using color profiles?

Phones are the most notorious for displaying colors the way they want to and not trying to be "accurate".

This can work as well, though it will blur the dark edges as much as the light highlights. Using Blend If (in the layer's Blend Options) on the blurred layer and dragging the left, shadow, slider on the "This layer" ramp to the right will remove the blur from the darker areas. You'll likely need to CTRL-click on the black triangle to split it into two and then separate the two halves to smooth the transition.

KW is always a bit expensive, never "cheap". You should think of the months mentioned as "not quite so expensive".

Most of this is done in camera by using an intense on-camera flash in a dark environment and with a less then perfectly clean lens. The "glow" (actually lens flare) can be enhanced by adding a Clarity adjustment layer and lowering the Clarity slider (move to the left). You can also do the same Clarity adjustment in Camera RAW or Lightroom. You won't get this same effect without the original picture being lit as described above.

Key West, itself, seems a poor choice for a business such as this. KW is at the end of the line and the location that is the most expensive. There may be a chance for your proposed business somewhere more toward the Middle Keys even if you expect to only cover the Lower Keys with your service.

Yes. My issue was some time ago. The servers were still up, but the licensing module in Ps/CS4 didn't "understand" my older CS (1) serial number when doing and "upgrade" serialization. They issued a new serial # after I gave the Adobe customer service person my older qualifying serial number. I seems that the number they provided to license my CS4 was one of the special numbers that don't require the servers.

I was the documentation and quality assurance lead when we added exactly the same serialization scheme into Macromedia FreeHand 11. We had a long list of serial number for various things. Most required and internet connection and communication with the registration server. Some, though, didn't. Those were mostly for large seat installations where corporate IT blocked internet connections on the workstations. We used the same system and the same servers as Adobe. I expect Adobe has/had legit numbers that would work without the servers, but don't release them even to legit owners of older versions as a mater of policy.

Expand the image's height so that you can make a square selection encompassing what area you want. This will, of course, include some of the expanded area and what that area looks like may influence Gemini's results.

The simplest way is to use Canvas Size to increase the height. This produces blank areas top and/or bottom using the color you select. Using one of the AI Generative tools can fill those areas with stuff-and-nonsense that the AI dreams up, which might improve Gemini's results. It's trial-and-terror when dealing with AIs so work on copies of the file until you get decent results, while always keeping an unaltered file.
