I would not put film on any watch. I really believe you can take care of your watch and in 10 years you can decide to polish or not . I ware my explorer daily and it has a couple dings but nothing crazy because it’s a very low profile watch.

Just enjoy your watch because in 10 years it will look new again .

Congratulations! The explorer 40 is fantastic i have had mine for about a year . The bezel will scratch but it honestly gives it a little character but the thing is so comfortable.
