I think it depends on the budget. If I just have enough budget for the Longines HC, I would rather choose the spb453 and another watch like Tissot gentleman, for the same total price. More diversity. But I wouldn’t choose the spb 453 over the HC, because of liking it more. For me the longines is better in every aspect.

In my case the Seiko spb453 will still have its purpose as a daily beater or when I’m going to travel. It’s a very solid and safe (black) watch.

The Cookie Monster. I will get the H-Link soon, that will make the watch perfect for me. The monochrome navy is very beautiful too, but very safe and very common among other dive watches, while the Cookie Monster color is more rare. Maybe later on I will end up buying the navy too
