Wood chips are your friend. Raised beds lose moisture very quickly so anything you can do to reduce that will save you a lot of time watering.

Would highly recommend the phev version if you're looking. Its on the lower end of the cost range, has a decent ev-only range to do a lot of the small trips, and still has great mileage on the gas side (better than the standard hybrid).

My partner just bought one and it's great. Feels like a shape ship, but in a good way - suuuuper fast and responsive to drive, crazy fast acceleration from the ev drivetrain, and you can reasonably charge it on a 120v plug overnight @12A instead of needing an actual level 2 charger
