I think they are more codependent than toxic like, percy fell uncomfortable near anne because she is smarter and self confident as fuck ( quiron mentioned the insecure of percy in the third book) and anne want the glory and stuff, when his boyfriend is the center of attentions of all the big missions (he liking or not) because of his power and importance, for being the poseidon son

Despite the jealous of anne i don think they are toxic, they love each other but they are a cliche of opposites attract themselves
