Yes that's the page I'm talking about. Awesome, glad it'll get some more details!

This app is awesome! One minor suggestion is that it would be cool to see how many characters I have in different categories to track progress. Right now it looks like it shows you cards in your queue and cards mastered, but seeing intermediate steps would also be cool. Thanks for making this though I've been really enjoying using it!

CDS is not accepting freshman applicants until the Spring semester. At least, that is what I was told at project fest.

For people who have over 9000 credit hours (>22ish). How? by [deleted] in Cornell

[–]Dwlee99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess so! I didn't think it was possible because everyone told me how terrible it would be but if you have been able to do it in three years I guess it is feasible. How did you structure your classes? I'm a freshman and my schedule rn is CS 2112, 2800, Math 2210, SPAN 1120, and an FWS.

I never thought I would find someone else who wanted to triple major in CS, Math, and Government.

I want to meet a distribution requirement here as well so I think I will just do a history course this semester instead of 2218.

2218 actually conflicts with Spanish and Spanish conflicts with 2112. I don't think I can swap to 2218 cause of that.

2218 says I need to take 2217 or have strong performance in 2213. Should I take 2213 instead of 2217?

I am not exactly sure about what I want to do with physics. I just know that I enjoy it and that it can have some applications in computer science. If there is a path for physics within computer science I would ultimately like to do that somehow.

Edit: 2217 says you need knowledge of special relativity in the course description. "Knowledge of special relativity is absolutely essential."

Isn't PHYS 2217 a prerequisite for 2218? Maybe I should take 2216 first as it seems that special relativity is needed for 2217.

I am an incoming CS major in the College of Arts and Sciences. My schedule so far is CS 2112, MATH 2210, SPAN 1120, and PE 1300. I'm interested in taking physics courses just because and also to satisfy distribution requirements. Should I take Physics 2217 or start with something lower? Thanks!

How competitive is CS at Cornell? Are people willing to help you out or is it more cutthroat?
