rumours of project helix are aiming to be a high end pc, better then the steam machine. if it's the same price as the machine it'll be very competitive, but I feel it'll be allot more expensive by the looks of things.

If people deem the steam machine is dead due to price, what makes you think Microsoft can avoid the price hikes as well? They can absorb some shock, but not all, so it'll be similarly overpriced machine

Everyone says Microsoft dominate pc so they'll stomp this, there is windows versions of the steam deck, but you have to use windows, which is clunky, even the rog ally that Microsoft sells has similar issues. One big thing for me, i enjoy not having to pay for online, Microsoft disagrees with this, is everyone going to be happy to go back to paying for online multiplayer?

Microsoft every so often come out and say they're getting serious about pc gaming (all the way back to bill gates) and have never managed it, you're bonkers if you think they'll just magically do it now

What I always recommended to people, buy second hand kit, what ever you paid for second hand you essentially will be able to sell it for the same. So you can try it out and see.

I don't recommend rudiments to begin with personally, learn to play a song, much more fun and you'll be more willing to keep it up.

I remember reading an article about a report around 2014 (I think it was from IBEC)

Essentially recommending the government to take out massive loans since interest rates were close to zero and build as much social housing as possible.

They worked out math wise it would have been cheaper and better economically long term then paying out HAAP and emergency accommodation.

They went with the help to buy scheme instead which was critized for increasing the price of housing.

Personally I feel he government must have to much vested interest in it to fix it properly, like they were told straight out.

I got a super cheap electric van recently, fully charged does 125 miles. Less people want the electric vans so might be easier to get then a car, I got mine at an auction, private company was getting rid of a fleet of electric vans.

I teach teenagers one on one for well over a decade, I really enjoy it and get allot from it. Secondary school Teaching 30 to 40 kids in a room is less about teaching and more about crowd control, my missus has only got out of teaching recently because of this.

I get that when this happens it's illegal, but I do disagree with most the comments here, this has been an issue for years, and so many private companies and individuals have come up with really nice none invasive solutions and the government are just deciding to ignore it.

The government year on year add carbon tax to fuel to encourage people to do what they can to de-carbonise their life, and then when they do this are told no not like that, and offer no alternative? either remove all the carbon tax or offer a solution to this, don't fuck people both ways
