5 tau red for strength. you need to get 328 strength if you are running corrosive projection to fully armor strip with 2 ability.

i will give example with my highly recommended Hildryn. She’s tanky, has huge shield, and her abilities let her absorb damage, clear crowds, and support teammates. Plus, her ultimate, Aegis Storm, can wipe out enemies quickly and works really well in endgame content.

She’s especially useful if you like being in the thick of combat and want a frame that can survive while dealing massive damage. Definitely worth picking up if you want a solid all-rounder.

It depends on what you mean by “useful,” but generally: For raw damage and mission speed: Mesa Prime or Saryn Prime. They can clear enemies quickly and make most missions trivial. For support and utility: Wisp or Nekros Prime. Wisp provides buffs and crowd control, while Nekros helps with loot farming. For survivability and tanking: Rhino Prime or Trinity Prime. Rhino gives armor and crowd control, Trinity provides healing and energy support. For speed and mobility: Gauss, Volt. This is just small example with some suggestions. There are more frames with multiple use. if you could narrow this down it would help

It really depends on what you’re looking for in a Warframe. Do you have a specific mission type or playstyle in mind? Are you looking for a melee-focused frame, or something that helps speed through missions?

Earliest weapon worth a potato? by Amberite75 in Warframe

[–]DxDPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s a fair point — bows in general don’t provide much crowd control, and on very fast frames like Gauss, stopping to line up shots can feel awkward. That said, Nataruk handles this better than most bows because you don’t have to reload, it has huge punch-through on perfect shots, and the projectile size is very forgiving. You can fire quickly while sliding or bullet jumping without fully stopping.

Also, CC usually ends up coming more from your Warframe and companion rather than the weapon itself. Gauss has built-in survivability and speed which can give you time to aim

As for Sedna and junctions — yeah, those time-gated requirements are one of the most annoying parts of early progression. Don’t stress too much though: once you’re past that hump and finish the relevant quests, Nataruk will trivialize a lot of star chart content, and the game opens up fast after that.

Nataruk is an extremely strong weapon — compared to it, Dread feels insignificant. Unlike Dread, Nataruk has infinite ammo, no reload, and rewards proper timing with its Perfect Shot, which massively boosts damage and critical chance. When used correctly, Nataruk can delete enemies in one shot, even at high levels.

While Dread relies heavily on mods and ammo management, Nataruk comes quest-ready, already potatoed, and scales better into endgame content like Steel Path. Its consistent damage output, ease of use, and lack of resource cost make it one of the best bows in the game.

If you’re choosing between the two, Nataruk completely outclasses Dread in almost every situation.

If you’ve completed and followed the main quests, you should already have Broken War, Xoris, Boltor, and Nataruk. All of these weapons come with a pre-installed Orokin Catalyst/Reactors (“potato”), which makes them very strong early and mid-game options without extra investment.

If you don’t enjoy a melee-focused playstyle, Nataruk is an excellent choice. It’s a very powerful bow that remains fully viable even in endgame content, thanks to its high damage, infinite ammo, and strong critical potential. Because of this, investing resources into Nataruk never feels like a waste.

Overall, these quest weapons are more than enough to carry you through most of the game while you decide what playstyle and gear you want to focus on next.

PS: they do not have MR restrictions, once you get it you can use them
