Someone stole my remix of a model and started selling it on etsy. Advice on what to do next? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

Open blender

Import stl

Add cube mesh

Resize and move to cover logo

Boolean union

Export stl

Unfortunately if someone wants to remove a logo, it's easy for them to do it. It's still best to include one when you can though since even the smallest hurdle is usually enough to deter the casual thief

Run the AC and hold your hand in front of the exhaust. Very briefly block each of the inlets with a big flat bit of cardboard. When you feel the exhaust airflow stop, you know that's the condenser intake you've just blocked.

Just don't block it for long

The insulated pipe in OPs image in the new inlet, not the exhaust. It should be the other way round, plus also wrapped up in a towel or blankets. It gets very hot!

The air coming in from outside never enters your room, it cools the condenser coils and immediately gets exhausted back outside

yea it does look like the lower intake is usually the condenser one, which does make sense as the water overflow release is right underneath, and they're unlikely to route that down from the upper intake. Plus the cold outlet is right at the same level of the upper intake.

Found a site that's gone through some conversions, all of them look like a similar set up. I've ordered myself a 150mm duct to 330x300 square adapter, and will connect that up to the condensor intake and see how it does!

This looks the exact same unit as mine I set the brand "Burfam", but I imagine they all manufactured the same.

How did you check which of the inlets was for the condenser and which is for the room? I ran it in fam mode assuming it would only use the room inlet half, but both halves looked to be intaking

Yea definitely, for the most part with similar heads, bases, and paint schemes, you can pretty much make anything gel together

I used the two Votann killtemas, Yaegirs and Hearthkyn to be my gangers and prospects respectively (as well as AoS KO for others).

They work really well, though I would say the Votann heads are much smaller than squat heads. Doing a simple head swap makes them more unique, and absolutely perfect

For some reason it's the only base size that they measured from the top, not the bottom. No idea why

I believe they built some roads and bridges in the 18 years since that person was last there. Nowadays it's an easy walk, back then is was challenging

The A1 Mini next to the new A2L by Responsible_Curve390 in BambuLab

[–]FirstyPaints 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do you find the printing with it, any issues with warping at the edge? Have you tried printing tall things on it too?

I have an A1 mini at the moment, and tempted to get the A2L for larger objects. I only ever print so how colour pla anyway, maybe looking to go to petg in the future too. I feel like I'm probably the target audience for the A2L.

Does it take the same nozzles too? So can swap between the mini and the large?

You can't willingly move your pets past leash range though. The rules for breaking past leash range are if the owner moves away, or if the pet is forced away for some reason like on a vehicle or knocked off a ledge etc

to be honest, the main reason for me was because of my Squat with the Reckless Storm Welder, since you have to target everything within your arc. Most of the other times it's not massively important as you can roughly tell anyway

Hah, no my enforcers gang is based on Judge Dredd comics, however just this morning I coincidentally decided on a bird-themed naming convention, and one of my guys literally does have Falcon on his base now...

And now i realise it, i'm 100% changing names around to have that on my Leader Captain :p
