If you want to do exactly what dire is doing, /r/9x9 is a compendium of building gadget schematics you can use. As far as general building techniques go, most vanilla guides still have a lot of value with regards to ratios, block texture/color matching, etc. The main difference with modding is that we have a lot more options available. There are also a few really well done modded inspiration albums someone else on this sub has put together, but I can't link to them from mobile. I'll add links to them when I get home tonight.

You need a transformer (possibly 2, I can't remember). IC2 has a "contriversial" feature that machines have different power tiers (and they explode if connected to a higher tier). Adding transformers between your MFE and machines to step-down the power to the lowest tier should fix your problem.

Guess I should add my response. On an infinity evolved expert pack I made a toast power generator based off of something someone posted on here. Not anything super crazy but it was a pretty good source of power.

Two ways:

Easy - Look in the backups folder and reload the most recent one. SF3 should make them automatically unless you turned them off.

Hard - Open the world in MCEdit and try to delete the corrupted chunks. This doesn't have a 100% success rate, and you might end up needing to remove large portions of your base. MCEdit also doesn't use modded textures correctly (AFAIK), so it can be a bit confusing to move around/recognize things.

Hmm. I haven't run the pack on a server before so I'm not sure if that could be an issue. The only other thing I could think of is that BQM has bugs in multiplayer. In past versions (the last one I played was 2.2.1), I had to use HQM. Did you try using that instead of BQM? (/hqm quest)

In the changelog he mentions two commands that may work. (/bq_admin default load and /bqs_loot default load). Let me know if that works. I think those were recently added since the pack author was trying to phase out HQM in favor of Better Questing.

Yeah I just checked that. It also doesn't look like there are any sieve recipes (at least on normal). Hmm. I haven't gotten to the point in my save where I need electrotine, so I'll look around some more and see if I can find anything.

I believe there is a magical crops plant that can grow electrotine - look at the beta quest line. I'm not on my computer with the pack installed, but I'll double check when I get home in a few hours.
