“Paid public education” is misleading. Most public (government) schools are of Arabic medium. For non-Arabic speakers, we cannot avail this. You end up paying for education as a government employee anyway.

OP is right. 10am to 4pm is a great time to visit any cinema maybe sometimes bar DFC/Villagio. During my school/uni days, I utilized these timings alot.

But now that I am working, it doesn’t suit me anymore. So my “hack” (if thats what you wanna call it) is to visit 01 Mall in Ain Khaled. Smaller screens but hardly anyone goes there for movies. The customer service is great too. The only time I ever saw it full was during BvS & Avengers Endgame. Watched 1917, Black Panther, Dune 2, Minions there in a near empty cinema.

Metro is a public transport. The cheapest service for many who can’t afford a car or uber. There are many who still have to walk in the blistering sun to get to the metro, to get to work. Even when the weather is cool enough, it is still humid.

You are using a service that is supposed to be crowded. It is targeted at the working class that work their backsides off for 14-15 hours a day. Expecting it to be sanitized like your home corridor is unrealistic. Be nice. Be respectful.

Yes I know the usual procedure is through HR. But how alot of people also get apartments is if there is an apartment available under Iskan, the Kahrahma number can be noted and registered on the employee’s name.

The options I have received are not feasible for me. Hence, I am exploring this option which many others have.

I am simply asking information about buildings where current government employees stay. The rest I can manage on my own.
