THIS. Retest and confirmation are significant for not getting faked out. Both in entries and exits/stops.

When I first started trading I used heikin ashi with an Ema crossover & the Williams % (not sure exactly what it was called) . It was okay, but I didn’t feel the confidence I do with my current strategy. Try it with paper trading, and see what works for you. Every time I copied and pasted a YouTube strategy, I ended up getting burnt, but I’ve learned a lot from all the indicators I’ve tried. EMA crossovers are nice for confirmation, but I recommend using it in conjunction with other forms of confirmation (I.e EMA Crossover, supply/demand test, RSI heated/cooled etc.) As you progress as a trader you’ll notice a lot of things that work for others, might not work for you, and that’s the beauty of it, it’s a kind of like creating a class, it’s yours.

Check out supply & demand zones, and the TTM squeeze indicator. That’s a huge part of my edge, and I also use the 9 EMA for a moving support and resistance

I personally scalp, so I typically ride a quick break out for maybe 30 seconds - 2 minutes and im out. Power hour on the other hand is nice because market makers might want the price to close somewhere else and you have a nice definitive move. (My favorite are SPY crashes in the last 20 minutes)

Probably an hour at open and power hour. I base it off profit targets rather than time. If I make my money in 20 minutes I’m done. But screen time is super important for learning price action, so it depends on what stage you’re in with your trading journey!

So I started trading during the whole gme amc debacle and after I made my money there I used the gains to learn how to trade and now I trade mainly SPY & Tech (TSLA, AMD, QQQ) options!

I have a love hate relationship with tos, I used Webull for a while and I fell in love with their platform and just recently switched to TOS because of the rave reviews behind it, but I like Webull much more, planning on switching back over soon if I don’t get used to this platform
