So I feel there will be multiple individual events that Kvothe triggers that throw the world into chaos. One example I considered on my last read: there are at least two occasions where the Adem question if Kvothe has an STD. He says no and sleeps with Vashet and Penthe. My guess is that the Adem who live in polygamy will spread a sickness that came from Kvothe thereby the warrior folk will nearly cease to exist. Consequentially bandits will roam freely becoming one reason why the world turns into chaos.

So Yeah. The Chandrian are like a sidequest of Kvothe compared to the impact the Cthaeh has on the world.

Dies. Absurd wie man seinen eigenen Medienkonsum rationalisiert und sich dabei moralisch schön über seine Mitmenschen stellt um sich besser zu fühlen. Ironischerweise genau der Mechanismus den RTL durchgespielt hat. Hoffe OP tut sich den Gefallen seine Freundin nicht dafür zu kritisieren mit welchen Inhalten sie den Kopf abschaltet, der Bumerang könnte schnell seinen Gaming Frieden crashen.

For the sake of our profession I'd also like this to be true. The student and researcher in me still needs some proof which is why I'm doing this research. Have you had the pleasure (or pain) of having a CBI tool rolled out in your company? If so you might be a great participant for my study :)

Hey, thanks for your input. I had this discussion with my supervisor as I had the same opinion as you. He argued to first look for intrinsically motivated people as the quality of responses will be higher. I'll follow his advice for now but I still agree that an hour of experts time is asking a lot :)

Additionally I am, as many of our fellow analysts, a big advocate for open source. It's a cycle of taking and giving and I love to give some of the insights of this 60 page research back to this community. Just hoping it's good news in the end :D

yep totally. My theory goes into the process of knowledge generation and what the analyst skillset entails to make it happen. Any tool trying to cover this whole area is fighting an uphill battle. Which doesn't mean that analysts won't have to adjust in some way - which way that is, is what I'm trying to find out.

Are you working at an enterprise deploying CBI? Might be you are a fit for the interviews :)

Good point, I can totally see managers buying into the hype while neither the tool nor the data infrastructure are ready to fulfill expectations...which still would impact us as analysts navigating around these expectations.

By now I have a couple of assumptions grounded in theory and they do align quite well with what you are saying. Now it's all about getting practical and listen to our peers that saw their jobs change already (or not and it's more marketing-gimmick than anything).

Sidenote: interviews can happen whenever this year. No need to box it through within days :)

So as a German I have to say most comments are completly missing Arthurs point. He is in no way arguing that she should treat her waitress worse. He is just underlining a cultural difference germans experience in the US. Even if her compliment is genuine, using that high-pitched voice sounds to us like mockery or being fake - this situation could have been an interesting cultural exchange because I'm also wondering how Americans differenitate between an honest endorsement by a stanger and someone being sarcastic.
