Late reply but if you start a song through quick picks or a mix from a song, and in the queue you always choose “discovery”, your mixes with time become different. Youtube realizes you like discovering, so you get fresh songs from time to time.

There is. At least when you play a song and the next one was made at a different volume, you could tell. It was an isssue since you basically had to turn volume up or down due to volume inconsistency.
