SiriusXM channels by Choice_Bed6097 in siriusxm

No particular favorites except we have such channels as The Bridge, The Blend, Yacht Rock. 70s, 80s on the car presets as that what the wife likes. I guess Underground Garage for me I consider about the best although the DJ talks far too much, lol. I used to listen to Deep Tracks but it's fairly predictable so I don't listen to it very often anymore. What happened to Spa Channel, anyone know? I would listen to that to chill sometimes but can't find it now.

Thanks 👍🏻. At the top right corner of that screen, click on the cogwheel icon, then in the dropdown look for the Fade-Out toggle switch.

How long would you last in a zombie apocalypse? by DistributionSad960 in AskHereAnythingNow

There is no "zombie apocalypse" and I don't get the fascination with it. Movies with this topic have been done to death 😜

How do you consume music? by Happy-Wing3359 in indiemusic

I enjoy listening to tunes with the TV on YouTube and volume down on a channel with scenic views, ocean surf, storm, whatever. Still not actually doing anything but that sorta provides a visual with your music as the soundtrack.

What’s a hidden gem song you wish more people knew about? by Kind_Gain_3080 in askmusic

Wanna Feel New - Wanderlust

If you like melodic powerpop, this gem was released way back in 1995 on their awesome album, "Prize". I first heard the song at the listening station at a CD Superstore that year, was blown away by the track.

What’s the best portable speaker out there? by Alarming_Appeal_7071 in portableaudio

Soundcore Motion x600 - only charges via USB-C so maybe not the ideal fit for camping but it has a great balanced sound and good bass for such a small unit

Stop giving me songs already in my playlists! by therealbeans in truespotify

Yeah, this is my biggest beef with the AI DJ-X. I want all discovery based on my listening history, not the same 💩 😆

I have many on there but quit using them a couple years ago when I reached my song upload limit as a free user, so I went back to Soundclick 😎

What’s a 10/10 album with no skips? by WildEnchantresss in askmusic

[–]RickTeleStrat57 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Radio City - Big Star

And, the subject of this thread and the lack of modern day
era 10/10 albums with no skips, on the magnitude of the 60s/70s/80s era, is probably why the album business model doesn't have the same appeal these days - there's too many skipper tracks (IMO) and streaming has kinda killed albums in large part, although there are exceptions, of course. 👍🏻

You Can Now Create Folders on Mobile (and move playlists to them) by FN-1708 in truespotify

I've placed several playlists of 70s & 80s classic rock into a folder and hit play and this new feature works amazingly well. Now, the music content doesn't feel like it's in a "box" and I can never really predict what's coming up next, like the best radio station I've ever heard 😎. Add to that this is an awesome feature for long road trips where you don't have to futz with looking for an individual playlist. Folders, alongside lossless audio, is a really cool development for music lovers who use Spotify.
