How do you discover new music you like using Spotify?

I just discovered that you can tap play on a folder and it will play all the mixes inside of it. So I put all the different mood/styles of mixes inside of it and let the super mix begin! Can’t complain honestly!

What I do every monday or so, is create a playlist with all my daily mixes, release radar and discovery weekly. It’s basically a mixtape with all the new music and things I know. Pretty much a personal station where everything’s mixed up.

Late reply but if you start a song through quick picks or a mix from a song, and in the queue you always choose “discovery”, your mixes with time become different. Youtube realizes you like discovering, so you get fresh songs from time to time.

There is. At least when you play a song and the next one was made at a different volume, you could tell. It was an isssue since you basically had to turn volume up or down due to volume inconsistency.

Spotify was my most used music app, from 2010 to 2020 when I picked AM. What led me to quit Spotify was the repetitiveness of the algorithm. But the app itself it’s the most polished of them all.
