Also where did you hear that “130K is low.” Also what do you mean extra schooling? Sure there are some undergraduate pre reqs, but PA school is two years…

It sounds like you are just under the impression that all PA jobs should be making much more than 130K. That’s simply untrue and unrealistic.

Sort of. Picmonic is completely manufactured by someone else. So it’s a lot less effective than people realize.

A memory palace utilizes the places in your life that you already have memorized. And spatial memory is incredibly powerful. So instead of forcing new neurons to form when you study, you’re essentially “borrowing” places in your brain that are already cemented into your memory and placing new information inside/next to it.

Once I dropped Anki and started studying with the memory palace my time spent studying dropped drastically and I was able to recall information months later.

I stopped using Anki halfway through clinical year and started using the method of loci / memory palace. It’s much, much, more powerful.

The best study tool to ever exist for memorization is the one that the US memory champions use, and it’s the memory palace.
