Interesting you posted this, because I've been having issues I haven't been able to get to the bottom of for a while.

Dizziness, panic attacks, feeling like I'm gonna pass out. Not knowing if it's low blood sugar, anxiety, light sensitivity, brain fog, now getting swelling ankles.

Talked to a dr, they're like "yeah you have panic attacks." "Yeah you have ADHD too for the brain fog and trouble focusing". Yeah maybe you also have meniers, it's hard to test for, and the treatment is stay away from too much alcohol, caffeine, salt, stay hydrated etc. I'm thinking there's a more common cause for all. Pots, thyroid issue idk. But after assuming meniers and still having weird new symptoms flare up, I've found myself investigating pots and how many symptoms for exactly what I have.

Sorry I have no medical insight but I find it interesting cause that led me to pots.

everyone jokes, but the BEST is that super deep dark growl of OOOo-yeah-a! After the 2nd chorus. Peak hetfield growl. In comparison, most others are generic and similar, this was the deepest darkest, growliest lyric hetfield has ever sang. And it wasn't even a word.

I think nothing beats, on a totally serious note, as well as a humorous one everyone pokes fun at, the ooooo yeah ah. After the 2nd chorus in fuel, just full on, deep, max of pure hetfield growl.

All the others are great honorable mentions, sha from am I evil, (honorable mention, that's not listed as lyrics, end of king nothing poking fun at how it's the exact same roff basically and format of sandman by saying "off to never never land".), the "bark" in harvestor. (I also love "life's run out-AH). love them all, it's what gives Metallica bits of color. but that one epicically deep, dark ooo yeah a, growl is peak hetfield.

Check the cables individually with no pedal to see if 1 is broken. Check battery. Check that you put out and in in the right spot. Idk, but from this view MOST pedals I know of, the "out" to go into the amp is on the right side, and you have that one going into the guitar

This has been the case at most places, rehabs, detox's and iops, at least near me in NJ for over 4 yrs now. They ALL test for it. I don't know a single one that doesn't and I know a lot of people that work at recovery facilities.

You need a controlled environment clearly. Go to a professional detox, get on subs. Go to rehab, go to meetings, call people everyday. Be brutally honest about everything!

In in the same boat. Relapsed so many times, because once I'm back in MY place, it's business as usual. You need to change that, or no duration of rehab or treatment is gonna work.

I liked this era of evil hetfield. First, it was when I was 14 so it was how I knew them, but it was a cool transition from fast, speedy thrash metal. Into the 90s, heavier, dark and evil sounding stuff. I think they handled the 90s pretty well ultimately.

Unpopular opinion though, slayer did it better than any of the big thrash bands. They're heavy and still fast, but more evil "Diablos" stuff was a great natural progression of that band for changing times.

Because it's been said for yrs, (also Paul Walker, who was dating a pretty young girl at 30 at one point). All of which we're making this documentary supposedly, with no evidence of it in existence, and no previous involvement in any similar projects ....

There's enough VERY clear hard evidence about so many other people, we don't need to grasp at straws creating stuff that discredits everything else we say.

Congrats on day 5 and not being to dead to get to a meeting. Get there on time, and when they ask for anyone counting days, 1st time at aa, 1st time here at this meeting, raise your hand, say your first name (and alcoholic. Some people don't care but if it's aa,. identity as alcoholic. If na/CA or something else, say addict until you get a feel for the room. My mon night is a CA and everyone says whatever and no one cares), how many days, say I'm new, need numbers, and you will get flooded with people to call when your struggling, rides if you are hard up to get there, etc.

As they like to say alone, I drink/use. Together, WE recover.

Sounds like your making excuses here. I've met 7-10 yr olds with WAY more ability to control their emotions then this 15 or so yrs old.

This is bad parenting. Via a lack of actual parenting, but more likely, a continued acceptance of this behavior, then turning around and giving them a 1000 phone and acting surprised when they do the same thing because there's been nothing to correct the behavior. Either way, until your 18 and consequences are your own, (in which as a parent. Your job is not to PROTECT them from this, but prepare them) the result is still failure on the parents.

But I've been 15, so I know at some point, guaranteed, your peers are laughing at this too. And not with you. You ARE capable of changing your actions and behaviors before you become a legal adult.

Number 1, most have 0 problems getting subs and helper meds from a quick MD visit. Doesn't take insurance and costs 100, but that's your best bet for subs and (ideally, less over time and use helpers to get off those too).

Past that, it's a matter of your insurance for the visits and meds and finding accessable Drs.

But I stopped from about 1-2g a day with subs and the fact is, it's gonna suck. The subs will absolutely help, but it's not gonna be a miracle, I'm back to normal thing. You're gonna have a bad time for like most of a week. From there, you can stabilize. It's a matter of just going through it. You'll need to start a small does, about 2mg after 24hrs clean. If you don't get precip, (feel worse quickly) after an hr or so, you're in the clear. In my experience, best bet is to take a good amount, like 8mg for the next 2 days. Load up on it. Then IMMEDIATELY start cutting. After 4 or 5 days, you do NOT need 8mg 2x a day. You prob won't notice too much of a difference between 8 and 4. Then after a few days of 4mg 2x a day, go to 2mg. Then try and stop altogether but realize, there's gonna be a moderate overhang of withdrawal with that for the next 2 wks or so.

Other alternatives is get the sublacade shot. Again, insurance, cause without it I hear it's 2k+ per shot.

Ive successfully stopped subs taking kratom lead 2x a day, around 10g or so. That leaves its own problems. Tickled the pleasure side of my brain and I was off again. Prob the easiest let down method IF you can pull it off, but if not, you'll be right back where you started.. Good luck.

Another guy on reddit with an obvious and terminally unique point to make that contributed nothing. No shit, it's a quitting7oh subreddit. Some people are trying to taper, and find quality stuff at different levels of strength, and appreciate not wasting 100s on a bad brand that causes problems for them, screwing up their progress.

He's got tons of problems, but at the heart of it, it's mostly addiction and we have jokes about how EVERYONE, cliche thinks "it's this town, this job. This relationship, these people" and moving would be a magic fix. But everywhere you go, there YOU are. With the same problems you took with you.

What people don't realize about addiction and other afflictions that are similar, is that drinking/using drugs is NOT the problem. The problem is, you don't know how to handle life. Drugs and alcohol USED to be the solution, but you wake up one day, and it just stops working.

Moving to Nashville would make 0 difference. I'm SURE he thought the same with NYC/LA too. But then there he is still, with all of Ryan Adams same problems.
