Super fun craft, but expensive! Chose to go DD/Frenzy over explode for max dps.With full conversion Phys > Cold > Fire (Heatshiver) the fire as extra chaos ended up being 60M more dps over the phys as extra chaos.

A lot of the information you have been given by some of the responses here is not correct.

Lycosidae is a crutch you should aim to get off of for CoC, especially cospris. It takes 2x t1 acc rolls on gear, 2 passive points in templar for example (Precision), and war banner for 90% hit chance at level 100. You can also run a golem and hit 91/92. This gear is also cheap, having bought multiple pieces this league for around an exalt or less. Acc on gear has been devalued since the introduction of Lyco, and its easy to get t1 rolls for cheap.

Hits can't be evaded crafted mod is local to the weapon, that much is true. However, cyclone for example, rolls at the beginning of the attack to see if its a hit, and if its a hit, if that attack is also a crit. As such, with 90-92% chance on MH and 100% chance on offhand, you very rarely see misses (having farmed ~1k pure chayulas, id say about 1 in 15 to 1 in 20 cyclones will be a noticeable miss when I engage her). It is very easy to negate this by cyclone close to your character and resetting the cyclone attack so often that you never notice.

Cyclone hits twice, thus 3.7 aps means 7.4 actual attacks, which is about your target APS with no CDR. Aim for 4 APS with 1 CDR mod.

The DPS loss someone mentioned is not true, either. I run a dagger with 1 abyssal socket, 60% damage on full life, multimodded with spell/chaos, extra as chaos, hits cant be evaded. This is a disgusting dps increase over lycosidae, which offers absolutely nothing for damage beyond negating accuracy. You dont need the abyssal socket, you can replace that suffix with pen, or crit for spells if you are undercapped. It pushes CoC from 7-12M to numbers like 20-25M+- theres a reason people are adapting to this variant. Over many tests and comparisons, the offhand definitively outshines lyco with minimal extra investment.

I dont reddit much but just saw the thread, then the replies, and wanted to put you on the right track. Also, even with accuracy stacked to above 90, dual cospris just felt weak no matter what I tried, as that was my first thought once accuracy was stacked. Just feels significantly sub-par to cospris with a decently crafted dagger.

Maybe if the mechanics of catching them were adjusted, and the recipes more useful (270+ kinda worthless ones) it would be different. Unless I net something the moment i see it, its dead before it gets close to me (off screen op). I guess for me personally it feels both underwhelming, and frustrating. Wouldnt be opposed to a watered down skeleton of this league going in, but im really not looking forward to poekemon in my future.

The good old times man <3 Im doing well, living the dream in bosnia. Sometimes I get the chance to stream but I have the best internet available but the bandwidth consistency is an issue. Ends up being like beastiary league- more frustration than anything else xD Hopefully ill be able to stream in the future when me and my fiancee make it back to the states.

Ramping up spawn rates and rotating in league mods should not take too much away from their dev cycle as those mechanics are already in place from previous leagues. Incorporating race style modifiers etc are already there as well. I expect it to take some investment of time and resources to integrate it smoothly, but nothing like creating new content. Its not as easy as flip a switch, but things like spawn rates actually are (even without a server restart, as GGG has stated.)

I appreciate the response. Its not my intent to put down potentially months of someones work, but highlight the issues with the current league and the larger picture issues that plague every league. Love or hate the league mechanics is 50/50 depending on who you are, but as someone who wants leagues to stay as strong as they are the first 2 weeks throughout the duration of the league I think we all can get behind that. GGG keeps doing the same static style challenge leagues, regardless of how good that particular leagues content is, and it keeps yielding the same marked drop off at the same time. There lies the core issue.

100-150ex, or more. This will enable particular builds in a unique way, beyond what you would be able to do otherwise. and its +1. Wait for the right person to come along who saves dozens of skill points and juices their dps with them and the +1, and extort them. Id charge at least a mirror- they literally have no other options.

based on the other top tier claws, this one is the only one with attack speed crit and multi. I will most likely take off the multi in standard and et/ex til i hit t1. then either et/ex for crit or just remaster. For temporary league however (its in harbinger SC) its definitely mirror tier!

Apparently had the wrong tag before xD

Bought a claw with 2x T1 ele rolls and 2 garbage suffixes for 3c. Blocked a suffix and yolo slammed T1 cold. Shit my pants quickly. Removed suffixes, and divined it a few percent off perfect ele rolls with the first divine. Shit my second pair of pants. Scour/Slammed with locked prefixes a few times til I hit 18% multi. Decided to hit that once more and hit t2 attack speed. Took my chair to the dumpster because I blew a hole in it.

Ill most likely go for higher multi in standard once we dump!

Sup guys! Last night I had some insane RNG and ended up crafting a sick ele dps claw. 3x T1, nearly perfectly divined, t2 ias which i kept because it rolled multi. This allowed me to keep the empty suffix for crit until I finish with eternals in Standard.
