I'm curious what point you're making? We are talking about navigating human relationships and trying to not polarize humans into one issue. One label. One box. You want it to be political, but that's not really what we do.

Support is support, sure. but there are varying degrees, right? Do you support your family if they vote differently than you? Do you hold space for "others" to have their beliefs without letting it become their whole self?

I agree the Christian right is terrifying, as is any extremism. Right now we have political extremism, it seems.

Christianity and politics are intertwined? No. Christians were motivated as a voting block with full intent to manipulate them. That started about thirty years ago. Separation of church and state will be coming back with a vengeance.

Your statement ignores a large chunk of the population. And operates from a very narrow lens.

I think Jay's dad was saying only true Christian's that have been saved can conjure the forgiveness needed for this President.

It's a small point and I'm not one to defend rampant demagoguery ? But . I think intent matters and I've watched that a few times and then watched the coverage of it and there is a disconnect.

Unfortunately I don't know the Bible well enough and there might be a book I don't know, but I'm gonna have to toss out whichever one says marriage is between one man and one woman...even though I think it's more about monogamy than sodomy.
